Union Hall

Came here to see CHOIR CHOIR CHOIR great concert and venue! Great and friendly staff. It was a standing concert so a little pooped after 3 hours of standing. Only a few tables and chairs around the perimeter of the main area. I would go again to see other concerts at this venue!

Could use more speakers behind and surrounding the dance floor so the bass isn't only coming from the front speakers, but really enjoyed the space. Was amazing to see Sickick live, they had other great DJs playing DonJuan and 2/3. Drinks are pricey, to be expected. Parking is limited so you'll have to park on the road which isn't an issue, coat check is reasonably priced cash only. Might go back here again for future events since it wasn't too bad overall.

Such a great venue, especially after renovations. The staff are so friendly, always great service. Management is very accommodating. Drinks are reasonably priced, not sure why someone complains about a $7 drink.. If you can't afford to drink just come enjoy the show you are going there for.

Cool venue. Good sight lines from all angles with an upper deck viewing area. Standing room only. Staff was great, bar service was fast. Great place to catch a show.

Great venue but absolutely no place to sit to take a break from standing.

The staff are very friendly and the stage is good. However keep in mind that they do not allow re-entry like other places Starlite room. They do not allow you to bring in cannabis because they want to spike their alcohol sales which are crazy. $7 for a PBR beer. Come on. Overall it's fine when we have to go there to see a band. But it really makes me reconsider how bad I want to see the bands that are there.

Only my second event like this and I had one of the best times of my life, great, customer service, amazing djs and amazing people

I used to like the Union Hall. However my most recent experience here- this past weekend- was awful. The crowd was absolutely belligerent. Me and my friends were constantly getting pushed, bumped into, stepped on… I’ve never seen so many out of control people in my life. The security pulled out dozens of people and medics were there for the few overdoses we witnessed, but there was still a lot of behaviour that should not have been tolerated. No idea how these people were even let into the bar in the first place. There were even a couple of staff members that I interacted with that were also clearly on drugs and incoherent. I’ll literally never go back to this bar.

Would like to know why they even have an email or a chat option on google if no one bothers to reply. I have emailed regarding an event on March 11th 3 times and tried the google chat. No reply. I have phoned NUMEROUS times and again no answer. How does a place of business have NO ONE that replies to customers that have important questions before an event that they really wish to see? Its like they are oblivious to their potential customers needs until the date of the event. Poor business practice.

Be on the look out for the best local and foreign concert venue for various artists from reggae, electronic,hip hop,afro beats, rock and soul. For an adventur u won't regret aside from the the hangover. Great atmosphere for good time with Boyz, and dem girls for a night out on the town....Holla at Greg night shifts he won't let u down
