Reviews

Went for the first time this weekend with a group of about 10 girlfriends. Food was fantastic, atmosphere is great! The gentleman who seated us was very friendly, kind and welcoming. Our waitress however could have been a little friendlier and a little more helpful when it come to asking questions about the menu, she also never came by even once to see if everything was okay. Regardless, the restaurant still deserves a 5 star rating from me.

The Belgian waffles are amazing. They're a bit savoury, which is great paired with the chocolate mousse and other sweet sauces. Everyone else enjoyed their chicken and waffles too. The servers are great as well, and the kitchen was happy to substitue things for us (home fries instead of bacon, bacon instead of eggs). Cocktails were on the expensive side so we stuck with coffee.

The service was really good. Server was super nice and helpful with everything. The food was great and really tasteful. It was pretty busy and lively which is always a plus. Even though this is a small restaurant, we did not feel cramped at all. It was quite cosy.

One of the few places in Ottawa where the food, drinks and service are consistently top notch. The Souther fried chicken is outstanding. The cocktails are really creative and delicious. And the service and atmosphere are really comfortable. A local gem.

GREAT place for late night snacks!!! It is truly what is needed after a few pints at the local pub. Pinto beans were a well seasoned warming dish that I enjoyed quite a bit. The Doritos nachos were as good as you could imagine them to be. Not quite as unexpectedly delicious as the pinto beans, still very tasty and exacuted to perfection.
