They have 3 pools. The largest pool can be cold East. The pool with the diving platform North West is usually warmer than the largest pool. The warmest pool is located South West normally used by youngsters! They have a large hot tub area but could be hotter. They seem to close the hot tub often but it will eventually reopen. They also have a hot dry sauna as well as a wet sauna which can be closed for maintenance.nnThis facility serves students, staff and the community. They host competitive swim meets, water polo and other events. Past competition include the Invictus Games.nnI complained to the lifeguard that they should pay the hotwater heater bills as the men's Showers fluctuates to ice cold quite often. It is quite an ice cold shocking experience!nnI thank the owners for providing any discounted swim! Why vape or turn to drugs when you can experience the euphoria of a hearty and refreshing swim. Furthermore you can reduce stress and anxiety by experiencing inner peace while meditating in the hot tub or sauna. I feel blessed! But owners, please please please pay your heating bill!
This is truly an amazing facility and you can come visit for cheap. Plenty of water activities from swimming pools to steam room. Definitely worth checking out at least once, because they do have drop ins. Check the schedule before you go!
Clean, modern facility! The swim instructors are wonderful, some much more outgoing and engaging than others! 4/5 because change rooms could be a LOT warmer and probably a third of the lockers don't lock without a staff members assistance.
The facilities are excellent, and the staff is both friendly and professional. This is the cleanest and best-maintained indoor pool in all of Vancouver. The only individuals not allowed in this pool are criminals and rude, cranky people. I didn't encounter any issues; I simply asked the front desk for some information, and they were well-informed about how to access certain areas. Although we had a bit of trouble with the locker system, the front desk staff was happy to assist and explain everything. Now we know what to do when we return here for a swim.
Best Best Best place for swimming I have ever been! After been here, I started to love swimming!nThe lifeguards are so responsible! They keep walking to see anyone needs help, they rotate between the pools, they are so friendly to ask something. Never worry about risk or anything. They will also call out even if see some kids want to swim in deep pool.nSuper hygienic! Always someone cleaning and wiping unstopped.nDon’t recommend to take shower here, since there is sign that to be economic, the hot shower water is rain water so let’s help saving them! nBut do take a quick shower before entering the pool!nPrice: free for UBC student. $7 for public adult single pass.nPools: leisure or 25m or 50m.nSometimes 50m is closed in half lanes for classes and trainings. Always many people in leisure pool but I love 50m pool!!
