Best Best Best place for swimming I have ever been! After been here, I started to love swimming!nThe lifeguards are so responsible! They keep walking to see anyone needs help, they rotate between the pools, they are so friendly to ask something. Never worry about risk or anything. They will also call out even if see some kids want to swim in deep pool.nSuper hygienic! Always someone cleaning and wiping unstopped.nDon’t recommend to take shower here, since there is sign that to be economic, the hot shower water is rain water so let’s help saving them! nBut do take a quick shower before entering the pool!nPrice: free for UBC student. $7 for public adult single pass.nPools: leisure or 25m or 50m.nSometimes 50m is closed in half lanes for classes and trainings. Always many people in leisure pool but I love 50m pool!!
Great place. Clean, well staffed, both all genders and men/women restrooms. Poolside classroom that was perfect for our Canadian underwater hockey clinic.
The pool is really nice but the lock system is insane. There are no instructions about how to get the key out, and it is quite easy to get your dollar eaten since the system is not intuitive.nnI told the lifeguard about this and he said that he helps people with lockers about 15 times a day. Other pools have systems where you get the coin back when you return the key like grocery carts or you enter a code. Why would a university pool have such a bad design?nnThis pool is basically stealing from people who do not speak up about this e.g., if you are not comfortable in English or if you are a shy kid.
Very large! Welcoming, helpful staff. Friendly, clean and like new. I enjoyed my visit. I'll be back.
Super good place for athletic and walk in peoplenReception was super friendly when she was giving me 1 buck for locker.nThere are 4 super big pool for every one. It is a best place I’ve been in BC. Hot tub for kids are super imaging with strong tub water. I felt absolutely relax here.
