Decent Ramen place in mile end area. They only have one broth and the toppings vary whether you like pork, chicken or Tofu. If you want spicy, it's also literally the same as the regular with a side serve of spicy miso. I was a bit disappointed when I saw this since I thought the spicy broth would be slightly different than just the original with a sauce. Broth itself was quite good and hearty. The chashu was also decent but it was too fatty for my liking and a bit chewy. We also got a karaage and donburi karage which were also decent but not amazing. I find it the karage to be too peppery compared to others I've had before. The service was fast and the employees were very friendly. Also recommend the milk tea! Very good
Great experience - right from the katsu crispy and hot to the ramen itself. Good portion and friendly staff - highly recommended for a wholesome meal. PS They played Korean music while I was there which was quite entertaining too!
Amazing food, even better decor. The inside is like a lit up lantern fest type of thing. I would recommend making a reservation, it’s quite popular so people wait a lot
Very fun and funky decor immediately impresses. The takoyaki stater was the very good. The ramen was solid but not spectacular - good chewy noodles, but the broth was a little sweetish, needed to be a little hotter note that we were one of the first people at the restaurant for a very early lunch.
I’m from NY and we have some great ramen out there, I’m happy to say this was up to par! The kara age was one of the best I’ve had. The flavor was spot on and it was extremely crunchy. The salmon had great flavor. I ordered the chashu spicy miso ramen and it was so tasty. The broth was rich and creamy, the pork was delicate and had a mild sweet flavor and the noodles were thin and not over cooked. I appreciated that they gave you the spicy sauce on the side so you can control the spice level of your ramen. Would definitely come back!
Very cute spot located in the mile end, the service was nice but the ramen wasn’t as good as I’d like. It was missing flavour the broth just tasted like water and I had to ask them to bring me some extra sauce for it to taste something. However, the seating arrangement is quite unique and I love it and will have to go back to give it another try.
Very delicious lunch. Had the takoyaki, Wasabi octopus, salmon don bowl and it was so fresh, served quickly and extremely delightful. I was impressed by the freshly grated wasabi on my don bowl. Service was also great. Our server was super nice and helpful.
Such a lovely spot for single/couple diners. Love the saumon Goma. The cold noodles were chewy and covered with green onions and fried onions. I'll definitely come again and try more!
The Montreal ramen tour continues! For a place that hasn't been around too long, it definitely has a worked in feel. Friendly service, I was on the tail end of the lunch rush so it was a bit slower than usual but no problem. The tonkotsu with chasu and spicy miso was great. The bone broth was tasty, the spinach and mushrooms a nice touch, the noodles thin and well cooked. My egg was a bit overcooked though. Good portions and value.
The ramen was good, fresh and served nice and hot. There is no 'japanese' ambiance but service is fast. Cons - Water is not cold and tables are very small inside; Terrace is nice spacious. Overall highly recommend because of value.
