Been coming here since my 2 sons were babies; now they're 24 and 26. Love the rocks, the huckleberries if you can catch the season, the walk up the creek. Thought we'd lost it forever after the road from Index washed out, but we make the trek now that we know the back (dusty, long) road. It's our favorite retreat. UPDATE 2017: Another year, another road closure. Campsites closed for 2nd year in a row. Made our way back there once this May before they made the closure official. Huge changes because of high waters. 2 more campsites destroyed. Fingers crossed we'll get there next season.

Awesome campground if you can stomach the 18 mile section of washboard dirt road on the way in.

I love this enchanted little campsite. When I come back to WA, I will see this place again.
