Tropical Treats Island Grill & Bakery

Just discovered this restaurant by chance. Ordered online easily for pick up. Very friendly and professional staff while still maintaining the Caribbean vibe. Food was great...ordered fried chicken,jerk,bbq, and fries.Everyone was happy.Good value for size and variety. The restaurant is also very clean and immaculate. Will return for sure!

I have been passing by this place for a while now, so decided to drop by today to pickup up some dinner. Soon I walked in I was amazed how big this place was. Wow, talk about how organized and clean this place is. Even the restroom are top notch. I really need to say BIG Thank you for that. Soon as you enter the restaurant you have access to sanitizer. Now let’s talk about the food and service. Food was amazing especially the beef Patty. Friendly server offered us free service ice cream too. She also told us bit about what they offered at the restaurant. They make their cakes, pastries and ice cream in house. Which is fantastic. Their ice cream is super delicious, must try. We have tried fried chicken, jerk chicken, rice and peas, macaroni salad and coleslaw. We ended up dining at the patio. It’s was very nice. Food was not warm, if the food was hot I would have gave 5 stars. Pls try to keep your food warm at all times, I do know it’s not easy but pls try. They also have a dedicated small party room that you can book in advance. They also offer delivery services. Such as Uber eat and door dash. Overall I loved the cleanness of the restaurant and welcoming environment will be coming back often. Thank you and wish you guys all the best. Pls continue to keep the place spotless.

Got a large rice and peas Fried Chicken. Rice and peas is definitely their own style, Fried Chicken was delicious but for a large it should have came with four piece of chicken not two, their porridge cake / pie was so good and also love that they have if you spend more than $20 kids under 10 or whatever come in for free love that will be coming again if I'm in the area

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We went to a friend's Birthday party which was held here and the place was spotless and the food was delicious. We tried the 3 different types of chicken they had and they were the best tasting chicken ever. I'm not a fan of goat meat but when I tried a sample I had to go back several times because it was so good. Their pastry is to die for and it is all baked on the premises. We will go to this restaurant and definitely take our friends and while we are there will order our cakes. I forgot to mention their Jamaican rum cake is awesome. I want to congratulate the owner for a fantastic experience and we will be back.

Perfect weather for ice cream!! Cravings for the flavours of rum and raisin from Tropical Treats and overall disappointed with just 3 raisins in my ice cream. Loved the clean environment at Tropical Treats, I'll definitely go back.

I had a fantastic meal at the Grand Opening celebration for Tropical Treats. They had a sampling menu for their first day open and I tried their Fried Chicken, Barbi-fried Chicken, Oxtail, Curried Goat and Patties... all amazing. My personal favorite was their Oxtail, and I was also head over heels for their home-made Rum and Raisin ice cream. I am very excited to visit again!

This place is a gem! So many positives so lets break them down quickly: 1. The food is amazing! One of the best I've had in the GTA. Very flavourful, authentic Jamaican taste. The curried goat, fried chicken and oxtail are excellent. 2. The price! There's absolutely nowhere that beats $6.99 for a regular-sized chicken meal and $9.99 for oxtail and curried goat small is actually sold in the big sized boxes below 3. The service is excellent. Friendly & courteous. 4. The space and layout. Very big, open concept with nice seating areas. 5. All pastries, patties are done in store including so everything is fresh! Overall excellent value for money! A must visit in Brampton!!

Tropical Treats Island Grill & Bakery is the best Caribbean Cuisine and bakery. The Place is warm, inviting and good customer service. Most of all, it has the most delicious, authentic Jamaican meal along with some Canadian fast food, such as fries. Based on the overall service, and everything that makes a great place to eat or dine in Tropical Treats is number 1

Popped in here today. The place is super clean and the staff is friendly. They have some really good looking cakes in there. I ordered a regular jerk chicken and rice and peas with coleslaw. The coleslaw had good flavour but could have been just a touch more creamier. The rice and peas was really good as well perfectly cooked. The jerk chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly as well not dry at all, nice and moist. I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice and peas. It had good flavour but i will say they could have put more gravy… They had some interesting burgers on the menu but no description of the ingredients… they should put what each burger is made of… Will definitely come back here again.

Most importantly the food was good, I really their festival's. I had gotten their fried chicken meal with rice and peas with a side of coleslaw. Also, it was very clean and the staff were very nice.
