Trip Hotel Ithaca

The WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. Please read this review and think twice before booking a room. As the other reviews have mentioned, the building looks abandoned and the parking lot is full of potholes and in general disrepair. The staff checking us in seemed nice, but once we arrived in our room we just could not stay there. There was mold all over the bathtub, a patched ceiling repair with mold and soap scum all over the tub. The carpet was coming up in places, visible stains on the furniture and chipping paint all over. I didn't feel comfortable even walking around. At night it is even worse! There are no lights in the parking lot, so you feel vulnerable getting out of your car and a path that cuts through straight to the rooms has seemingly been under construction for a long time. Picture the scariest and dirtiest hotel you can imagine and this is it.

Really needs an upgrade. Most of the rooms and all of the common areas are very tired looking. The showers all squeel, and the water comes out yellow for about 30seconds when first turned on. Pool was seasonally closed, so don't know how clean it is. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. King rooms are good size with a small sitting area. Breakfast was below average. Lots of parking available.

The hotel has a ragged exterior, and a pockmarked parking lot (RIP your suspension). The hotel itself is old and gives off a very "Grand Budapest Hotel" vibe. However, the interior is very clean, the rooms are spacious and cool, fairly well sized TVs too. The front desk service is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn't anything upmarket but you get a nice variety (breakfast sandwiches, fresh waffles, cereals, fruit, bagels). For the price, nothing better

They are very nice people. I had to print a 20 page document at 2am and they did it for me without hesitation. :)

I paid for another night in advance on a different card. I had already paid two nights. I was at the Dr for a bad spider bite before leaving for Arizona the next day and was told I was late checking out. They later apologize and say it's there error but the Front Desk we're generally rude. House keeping and Laundry as well as break fast staff we're wonderful ❤
