Hard to say exactly how we felt at this location. The hotel is certainly centrally located. The staff were nice and friendly. But the room was VERY loud. We were in a suite, in hopes it would allow us some extra comfort. I think all the suites are on the same line, and look at the picture. It's DIRECTLY overhead the major bus stop outside. So that means, while we stayed there Friday night and Sat. night the 2 most expensive nights to stay we had the LOUDEST nights by far. I mean, I get it, it's college kids at 1am on A fri/Sat. but directly under my hotel room isn't a good fit! We barely slept while we were there. I will say, we had our dog with us, and they were very kind to our pup and super nice at the front desk, but the location has it's challenges. parking too, but you can read over reviews.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it has always been a great stay.nnThe staff is friendly, especially Kellan. He made check in smooth and easy! Very helpful with providing information about the city!nnValet parking was quick and friendly.nnThe location is wonderful with access to multiple restaurants and to explore the commons area.
I loved my stay here. It's in the midst of everything and there is a lot to do!! The staff here we're great and knew the area very well. They gave me great recommendations on places to eat, wine tastings and hiking, the room was clean. We'll spaced and had all the necessary things like a microwave and refrigerator. The ice machine worked as well. I didn't check tk see if they had a pool or hot tub, that's in my to do list for my next visit. Loved it here.
Thought it would be nice to be right next to the commons, but there's not much happening there it seems. A number of storefronts look trashed out, but some nice restaurants just outside the commons.nnHotel was very clean and staff is spectacular so that's a plus for sure. Room is a bit on the smaller side for the price point so that's a small drawback.nnOverall it's a hotel room, close enough to the parks we wanted to hike during the day, and nice places to eat that can easily be walked to in the evening so would certainly consider it on a return trip.
I think the rooms are okay, a little bit and the maintenance are not great, but livable. I just found the service horrible. The front desk are not very helpful. Also I had some refund I should have got in August but I still have not seen it in September so I called and the front desk said I have to deal with accounting myself, who is on holiday at this moment and I just do not find that's great service. In general not impressed by Marriott Ithaca at all. I know it is not a luxury hotel but still the service standard are too low.
