Travelodge Welland

Booked through app and was really impressed with the newly renovated rooms. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. next time i am in town i already know where i will be staying

This place is a joke. The new owner Sunny who is going to be turning the building into a Travel Lodge is a joke. He’s cheap and lies to his employees. The building is full of mold and there’s even raccoon in the attic. To which I had to go in to install security cameras. The front desk lady Veronica Moffatt and her Husband are an absolute joke. They are the rudest people ever, they steal from the hotel and I have proof of items that they have in their home. All in all not the best place to go to. Either is the one down the street called Canada’s Best Value Inn. I would spend the extra money to go to the Best Western. Be very cautious in what information you give them. I would NOT suggest giving them any credit card information.

Customer service at it's best! Very impressive new interiors and had a very comfortable stay!

The Canal Inn is in management change and will be opening as a Travel Lodge with a grand opening happening in June 2018. There will be a soft opening in the middle of February as renovations are looking good and on their way to completing. Will be a very nice play to stay with one of the best family restaurants in M.T. Bellies across the street.

Newly renovated and great location. A lot of restaurants nearby had a very pleasant stay.
