Beautiful B&B with lovely hosts. If you want to be away from the hub bub of the falls and are looking for elegance combined with a warm welcome, this is the place to be. We'll be returning!

It was amazing lovely people in a lovely home. Many of the days we had to offer leave the house early and they were very open to wake up at 5 am and make delicious breakfasts that were so fresh and filling

Myself and my fiancee spent two weeks all over Ontario at a Hilton, Marriott and Sheraton and thought we would have a night to stop over in Welland at the Rose manor. We were apprehensive about it as, being Brits, we had no knowledge of Welland and had previously had distinctly average experiences of b&bs in England. Our worries were immediately put to bed as we arrived at the Rose manor, the Ellie and Gerry were incredibly friendly and made us feel very much at home. The house was immaculate and the history of the house and area was interesting, only really made aware of due to the excellent local knowledge. Despite staying all over Ontario in very nice hotels, friends houses and a range of different towns and cities this was probably the best place we stayed, especially lucky as we had got engaged the day before we arrived there. I cannot express how highly we thought of the experience. The portions for breakfast are ridiculous though, not that I'm complaining as they were delicious, I just wasn't feeling great at the time otherwise I would have demolished them into a food coma!
