Travelodge Suites New Glasgow

excellent location for the dog show i was attending! Service was fantastic ... everyone was really nice! Clean and spacious room, reasonable pet fees and large area in the back to walk dogs. close to coffee and fast food restaurants. felt safe the whole time i was there. Really loved this hotel. thanks to all the staff and general manager for making our stay so nice!

I recently stayed at the Travelodge in New Glasgow, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The entire place is spotless — you can tell they take pride in keeping everything clean and comfortable.nnThe rooms were impressively tidy, fresh, and well cared for. The bed was unbelievably comfy — one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Between the cleanliness, the quiet atmosphere, and the cozy bedding, it was exactly what I needed.nnIf you’re staying in or around New Glasgow, I highly recommend the Travelodge. Great service, super clean rooms, and extremely comfortable beds. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

I typically don’t like writing negative reviews, but I will make an exception here. First room was extremely musty and smelly, the heat was cranked to an uncomfortably high level. When I asked to switch rooms, the second room was even worse — stronger odor, and clearly not properly cleaned ended up Staying in the first room that they offered me.nnWhile there were “fresh” sheets on the beds, stains on the mattresses and overall condition told a different story. Floors under beds, inside closets, and behind furniture were quite dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Everything appeared to be surface-cleaned just enough to look presentable.nnWe also noticed numerous dead bugs behind beds in multiple rooms, along with stained bedding. Regardless of the exact type, this points to serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. Staff were polite and tried to move us, but the overall condition made us uncomfortable staying.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and HUGE rooms. It was an excellent hotel for the price, and the included breakfast was pretty good! The location was near a lot of chain/ box stores so if that’s your thing it’s a great location! It was only a 7 minute drive to downtown.

Room 111 was super clean and had everything we needed, but there was a bit of a pet or carpet smell. The location was great, and breakfast was fair. However, the noise from the adjacent room came right through the middle door it really should be soundproof. It disturbed our sleep around midnight .
