Travelodge Suites New Glasgow

We weren’t expecting a 5 star experience but cleanliness and comfort just wasn’t delivered with our stay. We entered our “suite” on the second floor and it was dirty - the bathroom had hair on the floor and there was dried up food bits on the carpet in the living area. The mattress was lumpy and the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had. The hallways were full of mud and looked like they never get cleaned. Air quality is certainly an issue. For reference, we knew other guests that also had a suite. They had a much better mattress and cleanliness was better.nI mentioned to the front desk about what was overlooked in our room and after promising to clean it better we came back to the same filth.nThis hotel is busy and occupied due to workers in the area so the attention to detail doesn’t need to exist as much because they will have business regardless - updates to necessary furnishings aren’t a priority.nSome of the front end staff were decent to deal with but paying well over $200 per night for that was so disappointing.

Our room was roomy and very clean, the bed was oh so comfortable and the staff was cheerful and accommodating.nMy traveling companion was not feeling well and they graciously extended our stay until he felt better noon+ at no extra charge.

My stay here is for work; usually for a week at a time. The staff are very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. Great perks as a Wyndham Diamond rewards member.

Room/staff ok. Convenient location but the breakfast is pure YUK. Don't bother. Why do North Americans eat such packaged processed muck? The eggs are clearly powdered/packaged to create a vile synthetic scrambled gloop.USE FRESH HEN'S EGGS#NotPleasant

We stayed in handicap room #117 that stated on their web site the room had a raised toilet seat. The toilet seat was only 15 1/2 inches high, a raised seat should be 17 inches and above.nHaving said this the hotel was in a great location for food and other services, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.
