Travelodge Owen Sound ON

Great value for the money. Very clean room and we had a relaxing night on a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the morning breakfast with lots of variety. I liked the waffle machine which made great waffles I had to help a few people who can’t figure out how the waffle machine worked I would stay here again.

Excellent staff from check in to check out with care given. Crossroads to the sound, pretty downtown with heritage and only a half hour to Sauble Beach. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Wyndham member added best price in this area. Recommend.

The woman that works in the evenings during the week is amazing. I stay here for work occasionally and she's always going out of her way to help guests even though its just her working the front desk. Sadly on one occasion I saw one of the owners harassing her, putting her down and telling her how easy she could be replaced, belittling her in front of guests. Afterword the guests that were there were trying to console her.nThis kind of treatment should be unacceptable. The manager and woman that work the front during the day seem good as well, I'm not often there during the day so I don't have as much experience with them but they seem pleasant. The darker skinned gentleman I'm not racist there's just more then 1 person that works this shift that works the night / morning shift seems pretty lazy - Today at breakfast there was garbage on the tables in the breakfast room, curdled milk on the milk dispenser spout, the closed sign was still up even though it was open, and when another guest couldn't figure out how to use the waffle maker he wouldn't even get up to show him he just shouted some vague instruction from the lobby even though there was no customers there.

The most pleasant surprise about this Travelodge was how easy it was on my pocket book. The location is great, too—central to everything in Owen Sound—but I really love a place that’s budget friendly. Also, my room was tended to very well. It’s clear the cleaners take their jobs seriously.

I stayed last Friday night. Looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay but unfortunately it wasn't that greatnnWent to check-in at late noon& the receptionist was quite busy from there on. We waited at least 10-15min in the line just to ask some extra pillows and shampoos.nnThe room was quite clean and tidy. But tyen we saw there were stuff inside the fridge maybe from the previous customer.nnI think over all stay could have better if the breakfast was nice. We actually booked this nonrefundable hotel for the breakfast. But they served little boiled eggs and some eggs were brown I wish I could take some photos. And then they have a waffle machine which doesn't work well. Had to wait in line to make waffles and then all customers were struggling to make it as it was not working properly.nStill , tried to enjoy the breakfast afterwards but overall not satisfactory stay which I paid almost 185$ for one night
