Travelodge Owen Sound ON

Most disappointing stay. I Asked front desk person where we could go for a pub style dinner when we checked in. He said he didn't know he goes to Harvey’s. He was uninterested in helping at all.nRoom not great but okay for the price. However bathtub grout had groups of black mold. I explained to the front desk person that this is a big problem for immune compromised people or people with lung issues and requested the owner/manager contact me. No response. Won’t go again. Don’t care if it’s cheap. Place is surface cleaned, lots of sprays to cover odors. It’s not healthy folks.

No complaints. Decent price, I liked how housekeeping did the laundry and made up the beds every other day. There was even a laundry machine on site if you needed your own clothes washed. Breakfast was prepared and there was plenty of it every morning. The staff were quite nice and answered any questions we had.nThe building also had a vending machine and was close by to a subway.

Despite all the negative reviews of this hotel, we decided to stay here, Travelodge by Wyndham, Owen Sound, for 3 nights. We found the room to be very clean, including mattress and duvet. Bathroom was clean. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel. BTW I rarely bother with Google reviews, but I felt this hotel was getting unwarranted bad reviews and wanted to set the record straight. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked and stayed there last weekend. The location was decent and thank God they offered the free breakfast, it really helps to save where you can when you travelling. Our room was spacious too as we got double beds. I would recommend this place if you are on a budget and don't need to stay in the main city centre.

Staff is very kind and efficient. Room is a large size with a king size bed. Bed looks dishevelled, but clean.nThe cleanliness though. A pubic hair on the toilet handle and MORE hair in the bath tub, around the toilet and behind the doors. Mold in the jets of the bathtub. The tables are sticky with something spilt and the microwave is filthy with hair in it, a huge broken chip out of the glass tray and bare metal in the bottom under the glass tray.nWe won’t be back.
