Very helpful staff that weren't afraid to go the extra mile. The room we had was completely sound proof, clean, and well stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo. It was the first dog-friendly room I've ever gotten that had carpet. The free breakfast buffet had a good selection. The only negative things I can come up with is the bottom of the bathroom door needed a fresh coat of paint and the boiled eggs were a little cold. I will definitely stay here again!
My room was clean and the check in staff were so lovely. The pool was awesome and my kids loved playing in it. A basic continental breakfast is served. The decor might need a refresh but you can’t expect something like the Four Seasons at such an affordable price. Overall a wonderful stay.
Very good basic hotel for breaking up a long drive. The dogs policy was no extra charge unless the dog makes a mess then it's $150 although the rooms that permit dogs were $10 more expensive on the day we were there so it wasn't that much different from places that charge $15-20 extra. We could hear a small dog barking in a nearby room before sleep but then it was quite quiet overnight. Breakfast had a good selection - bread, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas and apples. Very nice staff.
Stayed in the Hotel many times over the past 15 years. This time was one of my worst. I will not stay in this Hotel again, this is a guarantee. I spoke with other travelers who ran into the same issue, booking online and not receiving a confirmation. When we arrived, the front desk had no record of our booking. So we booked our hotel with him, then we had to call the head office to cancel original. Countless delays of sending us around and around. Finally after much delay we received a cancellation. The person we spoke with at the head office, was evasive in answers to questions, would not reveal his name, and lied about it to the point that we corrected him. 2 emails were given to him, we waited on the phone to receive. Strange did not work, 2 hours later we receive a reply. We were not able to relax in the hotel, instead we were working hard to be assured that we were not going to pay twice for 1 room we booked. Breakfast was another story, it wasn't the food that was upsetting, it was the loud disruption while eating listening to a staff members go on and on to a guest about the many woes of their personal life. You can do better elsewhere, for what it is worth
Clean room, close to everything you would need. Friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing. Pool available until 10. Convenient spot for the price. Mini fridge in the room. Free coffee all day and night. Would highly recommend.
One of my worst hotel experiences! Room was dated and dirty. Hotel was loud with other guests and no sound proofing. Parking lot was a sheet of ice. A fight broke out in the parking lot around midnight and couldn’t get ahold of the front desk as the phone in the room wouldn’t work. Internet also not working. Pillows were small decor style, not even full size bed pillows.
When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very nice, other than that It was old and dated, the room was not in good repair, for example the exhaust fan sounded like it was coming apart every time it was turned on and the shower curtin looked like there was a slasher there just before we were. The pool was old and wrinkly, the hot tub was murky and the sauna did not want to turn on. breakfast service is too late if you are traveling. The whole place needs a make over and in my opinion is overpriced.
We were able to get a room to break up our drive, the room was very dated 1970’s, tub was green. The room appeared to be clean and in order. The bedding though updated smelled dirty, like someone with dirty hair used the pillows I covered the pillow with a T-shirt. Pillows were also square not standard pillows. Cleaning products used in the lobby were over powering.
We didn't have a fridge in the room. We were to have one. The pool was cold. Hot tub has to be updated as the jets are not strong and they water could be changed. The sauna was not working at all. The free breakfast was so so. All they had was blueberry jam . No peanut butter or strawberry jam. The front desk people were very helpful.Rooms: 4/5
