Motel La Roma

Nice motel. Front desk staff very friendly. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

My parents highly recommended that my husband and I stay in La Roma as a halfway point from Nova Scotia to Ontario. When we went to book there were only the premium rooms available, which we were fine with considering it was still a good price. We weren't going to get there until past midnight, so we called them to confirm that we wouldn't lose our room. They were very accommodating and helpful. When we did eventually arrive we were able to get in without a problem. From the outside it looks like your standard traveller's motel. The inside, however, was significantly better than I had expected. It was very large, clean, and bright. What made me the most excited was the jacuzzi right there in the bedroom. We were too tired to take advantage of that at night, but after an excellent night sleep we woke ourselves up with a morning hot tub bubble bath. Since we had a full day of driving ahead we weren't planning on sticking around at all. While packing the car we were able to see the beautiful river that ran though the back of the property, the pool, and the restaurant. I would have loved to stay longer, and the next time we make the trip we will! Like my parents I too highly recommend staying in Motel La Roma

My daughter and I (and her Great Dane) were welcomed to our overnight stay here by a very friendly front desk guy. The room was immaculately clean and quiet. Would stay here again the next time I drive out East!

This is my 3rd time staying at La Roma. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the price is reasonable. The location is also convenient for access to the highway but far enough away that you don't hear the traffic. This is my go-to place when travelling between Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Good old fashioned motel for a highway trip stopover. Clean accommodations. Nothing fancy, but good value. We never stay long, arrive late and leave early. The proprietors are very nice and provide good friendly service.
