Life is about trade offs. There are alternatives spots in Little Italy/Villeray that offer a similar plate for ~$5 cheaper but it’s absolutely worth the very tasty meat, generous portion of greens and friendly service. No offense to the other spots. As I said, trade offs The whole dish is fresh. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Welcome to the neighbourhood TRAN! Super happy to have a new restaurant option near our workplace. Tried their grilled chicken rice vermicelli, portion was generous and loved the variety of options. Also liked pre-ordering online for pick-up so I can get it on time during my lunch hour.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood. I ordered for take out and received an excellent service. Nicely packaged meal : Very fresh and delicious food.

My wife wanted to bring me here for some time. I always said no cause “let’s go to sue”. I’m glad I finally went with her. Sandwich is very different from sue but just as good. The pho’s are amazing you can see and taste the better quality of the beef. Overall great spot and friendly service. Our new go to spot for a quick lunch.

Their broth are really special, beef is tender and the noodle are perfectly cooked ! Highly recommend!

Literally the best banh mi’s EVER!!! So happy they opened this location. I’m never disappointed with any of the food here. Must try!!

All of the food here is fantastic. I find myself eating here at least once a week because there are so many great options and really kind staff. I see the time and care they put into their operation, and you can absolutely tell they take pride in what they do — literally everything even down to their garbage/recycling bins are always meticulously cleaned and organized! One of my favourite local spots.

We have been here twice now. Once for a quick lunch stop, we dined in and another time we got takeout for dinner. Both times we ate here, we really enjoyed the food. The place is always clean and looked after, staff is warm and welcoming and the food is tasty. I would recommend this place to others.

Tran in Mike End is excellent. Great people and amazing food. Their homemade tofu is fantastic. Love their plain steak rice as well - goes great with their peanut sauce. They also sell these superb and Al crackers in their mini-grocery…try the seaweed flavor!
