Pho Jean Talon • Thank you Pho JT for the invite to your new restau. Not only was this location renovated, revamped, and modernized to appeal to all, the pho was as hearty and tasty as it should be. I would say it has a healthier touch. The Bun Bo Hue which is always my favourite in a pho restau is also worth the try if you're looking to switch it up. And just look at how crunchy the fried wantons are, don't hesitate to add it to your warm winter treat a.k.a. a perfect bowl of pho!
Very good pho place. Friendly staffs and clean place. What I tried : Pho Dat Biet with Filet Mignon Grilled Beef served with rice and salad. The Pho was tasty and hearty. I really liked the broth and it tasted even better with a little bit of Hoisin Sauce and Sriracha. I asked for Filet Mignon instead of the usual beef and even though it tasted good and the meat was soft, I could stick with the usual Pho Dac Biet beef. If you feel fancy, you could totally add the Filet Mignon, but you'll still be satisfied with the usual Pho bowl. The seasoning on the grilled beef was really amazing! I went during lunch time for there was a possibility to get a combo with the imperial roll which was amazginly good. Overall, this place is a nice revamp and it's really worth the try. It's really close to the metro and the Jean-Talon market, where you can take a walk there after your hearty meal. I was happy with my visit :
The food is nice, not really special but it is also good. Besides, the employees in the kitchen speak so loud with different kind of subjects. The restaurant not really busy. I could not complain if they don't forget my order. We are 2 person ordered 1 soup,1 salad and 1 coffee. I finished my meal and waited for my coffee. After 15' I decided to go to pay, the guy tried to charge my coffee and didn't realize that he didn't bring me. He reacted like nothing happened. I know that you are new restaurant, you better pay attention on your services to be more delicate!
Just discovered this new pho restaurant in Montreal. Amazing service and the noodle soup were AMAZING! Only Vietnamese restaurant to offer FILET MIGNON pho: would advise meat lovers to ask the filet mignon to be serve apart raw so you could squeeze some lime on it and cook it to you liking in the e broth. Did I say that it LITERALLY melts in your mouth!!! The homemade spicy chilli oil is also a landmark in this restaurant. I would be a great idea if they sell it!
Hidden gem close by Marché Jean-Talon! One of the most authentic soups in the city. Everything was flavorful with quality ingredients. Their soups will comfort your souls
Cute place to have a comforting Vietnamese soup on a rainy day. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating as we had a toddler with us. We ordered a pho dac biet and a bun bo hue. The pho dac biet was so good I would had another bowl if my tummy could fit more. As for the bun bo hue, it had good flavour too. Would definitely return as my daughter approved and finished her cha gio and pho!
Visited this place recently and their Pho tasted delicious! The place is located at a lower level together with another restaurant above it. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The service was fantastic and the price was generous. Not only that, the portion was also quite generous. Will definitely be back!
the bun bo hue is amazing. mildy spicy but full of flavor. The pho noodle in da biet is also great, you can feel the chewiness of the noodle each bite. the environment and place is comforting and modern too. 10/10 would come and eat again.
Amazing flavors in every dish, with an awesome staff and such a relaxing environment. One of my my top 5 places to eat.Recommended dishesGrilled Chicken, Filet Mignon Pho, Spring Rolls
