Toys"R"Us

Who doesn't love toys r us? Yes this location never answered their phone so I always had to drive down to see if they had the video game I was looking for. Yes Walmart and Amazon are cheaper for toys. However there is just something special about going to a store that sells nothing but toys, especially as a child. It figures they all get shut down right when I have a child of my own. He's only 7 months and you can see his eyes light up when we go into toys r us. He just stares in amazement at all the toys. It is sad he is too young to remember this and they will not exist when he is old enough to remember. 😢

Overpriced toys. But what a great selection. I have the best time shopping there and they're out of business sale. Even with that being said and the stuff being priced more to what it should be it was still overpriced. And the discounts were very mild. it was jam-packed however. Maybe if they had more discounts they wouldn't have had to close because more people would have shopped there

Very run down and needs a face lift. The prices also seem to be above what could otherwise be obtained from Amazon or other retailers. However, it still excites my younger sibling anytime we mention it. I guess the ability to hold the product in your hand still brings us back, but I feel that it would be better if they revamped the look and maybe brought back some of the old traditions.

All the employees I came across today were wonderful to me. Kind of surreal they will no longer be there to say hello to and laugh with. I always enjoy their help and cheerfulness. ❤❤❤

I've been this store twice with my child. The first time someone came rushing out of the employee lounge while we were by the bathrooms and almost knocked him unconscious with the door. The second time we went looking for a much sought after grappling hook and weren't able to find any. Not a single one. The prices can be outrageous, but it's fun to play with all the demo stuff.
