Nordstrom Rack Clackamas Promenade

I had what I think may be a twice-in-a-lifetime experience here! I found a suit, the only one in my size, within ten minutes of walking in, and the only thing needed to alter was the pant length!! It fit PERFECTLY! A few of the workers even commented on it and everyone was super helpful and fun! So I played that luck and stayed for two hours! I got a well-needed wardrobe refresh and had a nice time doing it. By comparison to downtown, this one is EASY to park! It's also quite large, well-stocked and everyone was super friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Not a good experience for sure. Several months ago I bought a suit for a wedding I end up not going to. I always felt the suit was to big on me so I never wore it. I decide to return it but time passed. So this week I called in and I talked to the store. I was told they have 90 days policy but either way to stop by the store. If the item is new sometimes they make exceptions. I was hopeful, I never use it and I had the proof of the purchase. Same evening I stopped by the store, I presented my case but this manager, she was, in my opinion, way to cocky. Why? Because her attitude. She looked at the suit. Looked great, no complain. Then she asked for proof of purchase. Had it. Then she told me purchase passed 90 days. They never take items back once that's expired. She didn't moved an inch from that. NOW. I do respect policy! But I still felt humiliated. Very much. Over $350 value. I didn't asked for cash back, happy even with credit in store so I can get anything else that I can use. The manager said to try and sell the suit to resale stores. I felt mocked at.. so I left. I'm not pretending I was spending all my money in this store, not at all. But we did purchase once in a while. Well, I'm not planning to be back at this store anytime soon! Either it was faulty communication in between the staff at this Nordstrom Rack Clackamas or everybody does whatever they want. Depends on the mood of the day. Sad. I wish you all a better experience than mine. But prepare yourself for everything. I guess at this store is possible. Greg

Always friendly people at this place... they try to make shopping (or just bargain hunting!) a pleasure, with great customer service and a quick check-out process.

This location is large and has a bigger selection than the downtown location. The cashiers are quick and efficient. It’s also very close to other stores and you can get all your errands done!
