I've never been to this park before but it's got lots of different areas skateboarding, basketball, beach volleyball, music amphitheater, and more. They do need more staff/ options at the ice cream stand so the line is not as long. They may want to consider having a few portable carts in front so that you could do three lines. It was the site for the Caribbean Days Festival for the first time. It's a great location for this. I look forward to next year.
Definitely one of our favourite parks. We love walking around the lake, seeing the ducks and adorable dogs and lovely families together. The concession prices are on the higher side but it’s great that there is not often a wait.
Hands down the best park in the Lower Mainland. They spared no expense when renovating it to the state it's in today and it shows. Every year around the start of December, they set up a grand Christmas light display that just gets better and better every year. And if the word FREE doesn't thrill you then maybe you ought to go to the $17.99 entrance fee Vancouver Christmas Market instead. The addition of a fixed Rocky Point Ice Cream location was the cherry on top.
Wonderful park to walk, jog, and play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, baseball/softball, cricket, volleyball, and there is even a skatepark, a bike park, and a playground. There is plenty of parking and once you do park, it’s easy to walk around. This is really friendly and accessible space that the city of Coquitlam has design for everyone to get out and enjoy nature.
In the beautiful city, Coquitlam, there is an amazing place- Town Center Park. If you prefer to outdoor activity, here is the right space for you! Variety of sports fields and courts meets your needs. Also, there are abundant multicultural events every year. Come on join them!
Christmas lights in the park are beautiful and will last until March. Walking around the lake will take you about 20-30 minutes if you don’t walk too fast.
The best things in life are free and this beautiful park is a good example. They have a ton of activities to do here from fishing to a skate park. They have also multiple volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts. Ton of options for walking paths. A cute little ice cream shop. A concert area near the lake. If I actually lived here I would probably come here all the time.
So many ways to utilize this park. Skate park, beach volleyball courts, playgrounds, waterpark, outdoor excersise equipment, the fields are well maintained for sports & events. There's so much to keep you moving. Love the stage and surrounding landscape too. Great spot to take lunch and enjoy live music/zumba classes or whatever is going on that day. The lake is picturesque and a great spot to walk the dog, even at night. Well lit and maintained. Inspiration garden is a highlight. Filled with creative and beautifully cultivated gardens.
Huge park with amphitheater, astroturfed soccer and many softball fields, beach volleyball courts with nets already setup, man-made lake, stadium with bleachers, running track, children’s playground and water park, ping pong tables galore! Apparently the lake is stocked with trout and saw a few people fishing in the designated zone. The concession [open this summer, Not pictured] is where you can get food and drinks! I recommend getting a mixed blue raspberry and cherry slush on a hot summer day
Lovely park around a lake, with people fishing or resting. Well kept pathways.
