Incredible food, lovely service and a true Italian experience in the heart of Chicago. It was absolutely delicious and all I can say is GO AND VISIT! I was told by my local friends that we might have to grab a drink elsewhere while we wait for a table as they are usually extremely busy, but we were blessed as most people had the idea to take out rather than eat in. It was fantastic and I wish I lived here to eat there all the time.
The food is really really good! 5/5 The restaurant is just casual and not fine dining as we were expecting. You have to order at the cashier and pay before you are seated at the table. The food was served very quickly and we were out of the restaurant in 20 minutes!
Came here on a Friday around noon with my family. Staff was very friendly. Location made me feel like I was abroad on vacation even though it’s located in Wicker Park. Food was delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend. Will be making a stop just for the focaccia with ricotta and honey.
Yum! Amazing pasta and even more amazing was the focaccia with honey and ricotta. Absolutely delicious. You pay at the register first, then seat yourself. A water jug is placed at the table and you pour it yourself. Staff were great, they checked on us if we needed anything.
Adorable restaurant with authentic pasta handmade live in store. Need to order in store before sitting and they'll bring you water and dishes at your table. Everything we had tasted fantastic in texture and flavor. Portions are decent for Italian entrees. Get the focaccia! The ricotta dip is a must. I'd drink it if they let me. Outdoor seating is plentiful and well set up. Perfect stop for a sunny day on an exploration of the neighborhood.
Stopped by the restaurant since I saw it walking by, there was plenty of people eating inside and since it was cold I didn't see anyone eating outside. Walked in and we were greeted right away by a lady who I think was serving as well as being at the register, not sure. You can buy pasta too make at home or already made. The lady at the register was probably too busy, since it was my first time I thought she would explain more, or ask questions so she could give a recommendation but not this time, perhaps too busy. Ordered our food and took home, the portions are small but good. The containers are made from plastic so that's a down too. Perhaps I'll try again.
Hands down best pasta I’ve had in the city. Incredible Al Fresca vibes. Sometimes they even have live Italian music on the sidewalk. This is currently my most recommended restaurant for my friends and family.
We took the pasta making class. It's the perfect double date activity or just a great way to spend time with your friends. We were well fed before and after the experience and we learned everything we needed to know to make egg or simple pasta at home. Not to mention we took three meals worth of it home with us.
it’s a cute place. It’s order and pay at the counter. They will serve at the table. It’s a fresh pasta made in house that you can purchase back home and more other stuff from Italy. No reservation, first come first serve table. Staff are very good.Recommended dishesFocaccia Ricotta Honey
The best Italian food outside of Italy itself! You can really judge a place by its house wine, and the house red here is just outstanding. The squid ink pasta was unbelievable - I've never had anything better. On Wednesdays, a live Italian-French gypsy band plays outside and the entire experience was simply divine.
