Monteverde

This place is definitely worth it. We came here for my birthday and the food was amazing. The servers were very welcoming friendly and accommodating to any request. Definitely a special place to go for any occasion or just to treat yourself to some great Italian food. They had authentic Italian options as well as Italian-American entrees. Definitely will be coming again one day!

Monteverde is definitely in my top 3! My husband and I came here for his birthday, and let me just say, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Plus, the servers and front desk staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. We actually had to reschedule our reservation last minute due to an emergency, but the person we spoke with on the phone was so nice and understanding, and helped us out right away. We were really impressed with their customer service. I can't wait to come back here with some friends. It's just such a great spot with amazing food and fantastic service. Highly recommend!

Fantastic dining experience. Great food with full of surprises. The fried squash blossom was amazing. The veggie in the Regu was a highlight. The meatballs was so tasty. The pastas were just authentic and on point. The long waited reservation did not disappoint us.

Well done. Of you can find a place that can make a proper Bee's Knees as a cocktail than you have found a well thought out venue that aims for perfection. The service is brilliant, and only because it is so tasty the food actually exceeds the service. The Gnochetti is not to be missed...Likely the best thing on the menu. The chicken was outstanding, as well. Skip the Risotto Balls..it has been done. What makes this Argentina/ Italian fusion work so well are the sauces. Incredible. Get reservations as this place has a great vibe and is jammed.

Absolutely a MUST GO restaurant in Chicago!! We drove 6 hours to experience this amazing restaurant! Will be back ASAP!! Everything was spectacular! Shout outs to: Shelbie, Sous chef extraordinaire! Rob, the owner stopped by at least twice to check on our experience! Brett & Pedro, superior wait staff…. So attentive!!

Absolutely among the best for Italian anywhere. Wait staff was incredibly attentive, food was spectacular and surprisingly not too heavy, which is always a pleasant surprise for Italian, and Chef Sarah was even kind enough to stop by for a chat and pictures. Highly recommend the burrata and ham and spaghetti. Monteverde is a must-try if you're ever in Chicago, and we'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

We got to visit here for our anniversary, and they treated us so well and gave us amazing recommendations. I'll admit that we ordered entirely too much food, but having delicious leftovers is a good problem to have. Everything came out fresh made to order- including the pasta itself- and the cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. Come here ravenously hungry and treat yourself to sampling a couple different things and legit the best pasta I've had in my life.

This place is so special. I make reservations anytime we will be in the city. I make sure to look 30 days out because it fills up quickly and we never want to miss an opportunity to dine here. This was our 4th visit and it was just as amazing as prior visits. Will be back again in September! There is such care in the service and execution of the dishes... thoughtful layers of flavor in each dish. A gem of a restaurant.

Hey unique and modern take on traditional Italian cuisine. Absolutely loved everything we tried. Drinks were awesome too and have the perfect buzz. Service was very friendly, prompt and not bougie. Go spend your money here.

Food is excellent! The burrata and the arancini are a must. The house made pastas have the perfect flavor and texture. Perfect place for sharing a meal. Drinks and wine program complemented the meal very well. Great atmosphere and a place that really pays attention to the details.
