Division Boundaries:
· West-Don Roadway, Lakeshore Blvd. E, Don River
· North-Prince Edward Viaduct, Danforth Ave.
· East-Victoria Park Ave., Nursewood Rd.
· South-Toronto shoreline
The station is open 24 hours per day, and is located at 101 Coxwell Ave, at the corner of Dundas St. East, in the City of Toronto
There is visitor parking available.
Public transportation also provides easy direct access to the station. If arriving by subway, exit at the Coxwell subway station, and take the southbound Coxwell bus.
The public can access the station from the Coxwell Ave. entrance. This entrance is also handicap accessible.
Fifty-five Division provides policing services to the east area of the City of Toronto, the central suburb of Toronto. Covering a total of 17 square kilometres.
Policing the areas that border with 55 Division are:
51 Division to the west,
41 Division to the east,
54 Division to the north,
and Marine Unit to the south.
Within these boundaries 55 Division is home to many diverse communities that host or present many cultural and community events. Some of the major events held annually are the Jazz Festival - Beaches area in July, Taste of the Danforth - in August, Chinese New Year - January and the Gerrard India Bazaar who celebrate Diwali "Festival of Lights" in November. All of the communities celebrate many other cultural or significant events during the year of which 55 Division members participate.
