I honestly usually have the worst times with police however the 2 bike cops who cought me have a sip of beer in public at dundas Square actually cut me a break. I was struggling a bit and they knew writing me a ticket would really hurt me. It was really nice of them to just make me dump it and throw it in the garbage. I forgot their names but thanks for cutting me a break in life for once. I really needed it.
Several years ago and went to this police station to report a crime that occurred at Bathhurst and Queen Street. The police officer I spoke to looked at me like he wanted to arrest me and told me to go to the other station at Eglinton west which was 53 division I think. When I went up to 53 division to report the crime they told me that I should report the crime back down from where it came from On Dundas and University at the 52 division police station. I never bothered and this is why I will never report crimes to the police ever. They would rather arrest me for nothing then do their job.
I have mixed feelings about this place. I was crying and panicking. This could avoid if they just explained for me the officer standing inside staring at me can’t help with my report right from the beginning so i won’t feel i was left waiting outside so long on purpose. It was a terrible day with me, my phone died and all the lady talked with me through the speaker care about is why i did not report right away at the time the incident happened when i already told her twice because i think it would be a better idea to do after my work shift and i was working at that time. I ended up waiting until 12:30am almost 2 hours to file the report about the lady who assaulted me and all i ask is they could let me borrow a charger so i won’t feel unsafe waiting outside cold and tired. Anyway at least someone came out and explained for me after I cried a lot and almost broke down that the officer standing and looking at me eyes to eyes almost 2 minutes can’t help me with my report. Except the officer ignored me when i asked if i could borrow a charger for my phone while waiting, the other officers seem really nice and friendly. I really can’t tell! Toronto was the only city i was experienced racist and i might over think in some situations. I was so tired and I kept thinking about the worst case can happen. Anyway those two officers help me filed the report at the end is really nice and talking with them really calm me down. Can’t tell this good or bad! But i really don’t want to comeback here in the future.
Dereliction allowed a cultural genocide to occur and they facilitated the disappearances of family, they allowed me and my family to be harmed. Tax paying and hard-working family
Big time rude on the phone now I know why cops have a high divorce rate
I don’t like their attitude. Some of the stuff are very rude and ask question in a aggressive way especially the Asian lady who works at the front desk. The overall the service incredibly slow, inefficient , they were chatting and laughing . I feel like they are not really care about people, it supposed to be done within just 20 mins work, however, they make you wait for 3 hours, and there was only 1 people before me, not because of they are busy , because they are slow and chatting something else while take the report
My daughter was attacked, beaten and robbed a week ago, and I still have not been given an update… I guess “my daughter’s live goes not matter”?
No sympathy from any of these officers. It does not even affect them that there was a crime that just happened, no matter how small it could be. You go there, you tell them you got scammed, and they just shrug their shoulders making you look like you're stupid and making you feel so much worse than what has already happened to you. What happened to their slogan "to serve and protect?" You just made me feel stupid and you did not make me feel like I was being protected or that I had a chance for justice. What a shame. Officer Leung was one of the guys that tried to "help" me with no sympathy or remorse at all. To serve and protect yet you just shrug off a complaint or a report? You ignore a complaint and the fact that these could happen to other people?
Was in an accident while in an uber and was t-boned as a passenger , called the station for advice as neither driver reported the accident & i was taken to the hospital. The representative i spoke to mentioned that there is nothing the police can do and i should have stayed in the car waited for ambulance & police so there is a police record vs going to the hospital after sustaining a concussion & whiplash as per the doctor at mount sinai hospital. I was off to the hospital in less than 4-5 minutes. I am not sure what type of human evaluation is used to get a job here but there are much more polite and compassionate people who are highly skilled looking for jobs. Disappointed , maybe they were having a bad day.
Worst scums to walk planet earth. I was visiting from the US and was facing a difficult situation the first/last day visiting Toronto. Never seen such heartless people in my life. Long story short, me and my baby were stranded after my car was towed due to me being lost and not getting to my car on time. Having no money or credit cards to get to the towing building. Not knowing where i was, not having anything to drink or eat in hours and feeling helpless. Their remarks and comments blew my mind and they made no effort in helping us. I managed to find some wifi, connected to maps and walked two hours to where my car was.
