Toronto Police Service 42 Division

Tried to report domestic abuse years ago during my marriage. I was threatened, hit and a knife put to me and had bruises up and down my arms. They refused to investigate telling me to get a divorce lawyer instead. If I was a women they would have taken it seriously. But because i'm male they weren't interested. Wouldn't even take a statement from me. Thanks Toronto police!!!

Best place to get your picture taken, it was definitely worth the wait! In all seriousness, though, I gave a five star due to at least one of your officers going to court to actually stand up for the people against Mr. Ford. I mean, how often does that happen?

I spoke with 2 female officers at this devision because of ongoing issues with a landlord and they were exceptionally helpful and kind; better advice than I got from anyone at 311 City of Toronto or the Government of Ontario. The Desk Sargeant was exceptionally helpful. The 2 male officers who I first dealt with were not helpful, kind, or the slightest bit concerned with my safety issue...

My dad got into an accident and the police arrived so quickly. The police officers were beyond kind to my dad and I wanted to express my gratitude. God bless all of you for the work you do, You all def don't get enough credit.

Several times two or three police officers came to my property, spent quite an amounts of time on the fraud "tenant" , and their efforts in serving and protecting the "tenant" but not property owner also impressed me deeply. When asking questions, officers had no service manner, just asked questions again and again, didn't want to help tax payer. Very disappointed their service to the property tax payer. Should be "0" star if can give it!

You guys need to understand that police have a life too with their own issues. "Sometimes" I'm just saying that they're busy dealing with other issue's other violence and you guys have wrote so many of your own feelings. Yes, I also walked in too. It's about patience my friend. Police they can't observe and male materialistic things happen.. I have faith in God personally. This is why I don't depend on the police anymore. Because police have respect too in the end of the day. If you all, sit there and complain about your problems. What should we do? Abuse the system? There's only so much police can do. That's my personal view. That's the way I see it. I have called the police alot and have fought against my wellness. But is there so much the police can do?

This is what happened. Some theft came into my house today and stole at least $1000,00 worth of jewelry and cash. Mostly wallets, Mac book, watch, and etc... reported to them at 7 pm, they told me to wait because apparently it’s a “ Friday night” and not everyone is working, they’ll send someone available. What time? They’re not sure, so it could be in the middle of the night or maybe not, maybe they’ll forget about us. So you’re saying we’re paying tax for nothing? This tells me that we pay tax for a bunch of useless people that are somewhat “protecting” us. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Sunday night or whatever night, you people are polices, you protect us 24/7, that is what you people are trained for. You people don’t have “Friday nights” So you guys are telling me that it’s a Friday night and that anyone could steal or kill anyone and there will be no polices? Or am I misunderstanding??? Back to the story So we waited for at least 5 hrs and there still wasn’t anyone “available”to come???? Excuse me? What are you people doing anyways? This is so ridiculous. No one has time to wait that long for a person to come to our house and tell us “it’s lost, then it’s lost, we can’t do anything about it”. And they’re telling us to patiently wait pfffttt if you lost $1000.00 would you just sit there and wait? and telling us that if we can’t wait then we’ll have to deal with it. At the end I decided to cancel it because who has the f***in time to wait. If they told us that someone would be coming at 6 am or at least give us a time, I wouldn’t be calling and bothering you pigs. Soooo fuunnnyyy

As odd as this may sound, I had the pleasure of running into two neighborhood patrol officers and their professionalism and courtesy was far beyond what I could have expected under the circumstances. My sincere thanks to these two officers. Piotr

Called for some advice regarding a dispute I had with a merchant in a mall. Female officer answers the phone and just rudely transfers me to communications where they told me if I don't need an officer to come out then I should be just speaking to the Division itself which was my intended call just seeking advice. Asked to speak to the Supervisor. He was talkative but very cold. Taxpayer getting a feeling these people relate to the community in an antisocial manner. Makes me feel like if they need tips I would not be inclined to help them. No class and they should know they work for the community they service.
