Didn't personally buy from this store but was on the phone with an employee who went above and beyond to try to find a flower pot for me when they did not have stock correlating with the inventory/stock number listed on the website. He even called another home hardware, and placed the item on hold for me!
They don't honour their return policies. I bought a product with a 90 days return policy and tried to return it after about 45 days, never used/with original packaging etc., and they refused. They kept talking about a 30 day policy and refused to listen even though I had it in writing that it was clearly a 90 day policy. I didn't know they could just lie to you like that about return policies.
Even as covid precautions wane, covid does not this store will not only still do curbside pickup as of July '22 they even hand your card back with a disinfectant wipe to keep you safe! Outstanding service and their efforts in keeping our immunocompromised family member safe was hugely appreciated. Great prices, great service - highly recommended.
I’ve had both fabulous and horrific experiences at this store, depends on who is working at the time. Last week I arrived 5 mins before close to get a pack of garbage bags. An employee told me he was fed up with people who expected him to work for free. Huh? I replied. He explained he doesn’t get paid the minute the store is closed. He came around and cashed me out 2 mins after close and in fairness to him, the absent owner of this store is wrong not to pay his staff for the 15 mins it would take to do a proper close.
Excellent service. Called and product was put aside for my arrival. Quickly assisted with my additional questions. As such, they upsold $$.
Small store packed to the gills with products. Staff members assisted me locating items and also cut a rod and door sweep to the measurements I required. Wish they had known I needed keys cut too and they could have reminded me lol. I am new to the area and am quite happy to have a Home Hardware close by. I expect I will be on first name terms with staff soon as I plan to shop there often.
I had to pick up a Fedex order at this store and was up north during the 5 day hold. So I sent an email to the store to ask for an extension. The owner promptly emailed me back the same day and replied he was happy to accommodate me. I went in today to pick up my order and Andrew was very friendly and helpful. He knew my situation and retrieved my parcel. As he processed my parcel at the checkout I noticed on a shelf they carried the N95 masks. I asked about the 2 box sizes and he explained the larger one had greater protection so we purchased it. The store is well organized, great selection and excellent service.
Lucky to have them so conveniently located with all the necessities we need from light bulbs to pumping supplies and kitchen necessities. They answer their phones promptly and have the answers you need to any questions. Thanks for being a great neighbour.
Good selection of products and if they don't have it they will order for you promptly. The store always seems to be in the process of stocking with subsequently messy aisles.Point of sake area is awkward and hard to maneuver and bottlenecks quickly. Staff however are courteous and eager to help!
