This place is absolutely amazing. The students doing the hair are learning to style hair and really work hard to do a great job. The teacher is there to help them when they have questions and will show the students if they need help. It takes longer since they are students but the price is low and these people want to do a great job. Amazing place.

Horrible experience! I arrived late which is my fault however, that is no excuse for the poor service I received. As can be seen in this photo the highlights are not well placed, the strands are too wide and the color is over bleached! The student was miserable throughout, and the teacher was not better. This photo was taken after the teacher corrected a few strands by adding more brown and toner to remove the yellow, this after initially telling me that it was the color I chose. She didn't bother to fix all of it and acted irritated with me throughout. I would have been better off if they had refused me when I arrived late rather than endure their treatment and pay for a botched job! The student put color way past my hairline and when i wanted to remove some she just handed me the remover to do it myself instead of doing it for me like they do in proper salons. She said the stains was actually redness from me rubbing and that she had put protective gel on my skin beforehand absolving herself of responsibility when she was in the wrong.When I showed her how the streaks were not evenly placed she said it was because of how I part my hair. And, if that wasn't bad enough she completely drenched the back of my top with water and once again blamed me saying i should have told her the water was splashing me, as if I could know in advance that it was going to happen. I had overheard another student complaining that the chair was broken at which point the teacher gave her a dirty look in response, so she knew about the chair but tried to blame me for it. My hair looks disgusting and now I will have to spend more money to fix it. Do not go to this salon especially if you have an event you will be sorry!

I used to love going here for a cheap haircuts and to give a student some experience with hair cutting since I am really not picky about my hair. I have gone before and loved my experience but last time I went my very simple bob haircut turned into a 3-hour venture for a new student. Nothing against her but I wonder if the teachers should be more involved in order for the haircuts as simple as mine to go faster. The price is really good but I'd rather pay a bit more for a faster service

I dropped off my son to have a buzz cut at 9:30 this morning, then went back to pick him up one hour later he was not done because he got talked into have a different style cut, which I don't really mind. Another 30 minutes later, I went back to get him, he was still not done, the hair dresser asked for another 5 minutes. Eventually it was done, it took 1 hour 45 minutes, then waited another 5 minutes . In the meantime, I spoke with floor supervisor, she suggested for me to talk to the directrice, which I did. I told her that I didn't expect such long for a simple hair cut, it wasn't the first time he went for cut, usually it takes 30 -45 minutes. I know they are students, need to practice which I support that. The directrice said as students, they take however long they need, if you are not happy with the wait, go somewhere else. I was shocked what she said, all I asked was that if I was informed the wait time at the time of booking an appointment, I would have planned my day differently or chose another day. Students don't just learn how to cut hair, they need to learn how to provide customer service, how to communicate to clients, how to meet their personal needs of style. The way she demostrated to her students about customer service standards is definetely a bad example.Service: Hairstyling

Very friendly, and professional. However keep in mind their students, and it will take more time than your regular salon. But over all an enjoyable experience!

Excellent place, very affordable. I got and amazing service which I highly recommend. I will come back soon, for sure.
