My only go-to place in the city. They do "cut n go" hair cuts (meaning they don't do shampoos and blow-outs unless you specifically ask for them) so you know what to expect and are never surprised by a cut that looks awful after your first shampoo. All of the people who work there are great at what they do. If you trust them, they will really give you a cut that's perfect for your face/style. Also a fantastic place if you're looking to get some crazy colours put in your hair.

Don’t expect to get a hair salon experience. Bizarde is like a barbershop with a hip ambiance and skilled staff. The smell of smoke when you enter kinda turned me off. However I really liked the cut.

Love the relaxed vibe and that the space is full of plants! Amy gave me a great haircut and made me feel super comfortable. Her expertise was obvious and I like that she cut my hair while it was dry (washed it afterwards). The other stylists were also managing some avant-garde styles, so I highly recommend this place if you want a technical haircut that will look good! Overall, I’m super satisfied and happy that my bangs will only cost $10 to be trimmed when I return!

I give this salon, hands down 5/5. I haven't cut my hair in at least 3 years because I'm afraid the hairdresser would just cut as they please but it was such a great experience I had with Sarah Nd Alex. They were very patient Nd attentive, they were also careful with my hair Nd made sure everything was how I wanted it to be. Nd to me, that was very important. I have never had a great experience like I did today. The pricing wasn't too crazy either. I recommend this salon to women who have long hair & are afraid or lack trust in hairdressers, this is the place to be!!

The first picture is what I showed the colourist for an inspiration picture. The second is what she gave me. This horrible, insanely expensive colour was done by their most experienced colourist. It cost $250, no cut, on chin length hair!! The stylist refused to give me a breakdown of the cost, only saying it was because of "the methods and materials" without any specifics. I asked for balayage with a blended root and pastel pink colour. When I saw the result I almost cried. It was very streaky and there were huge chunks of colour missing in the side and the back. She also made the front pieces solid blocks of colour, completely different from the rest. It's not blended at all and looks patchy and rough. I have had multiple people ask me if I did it myself. The bright pink is not at all what I asked for. I felt like a badly drawn anime character. They do have a policy where you can go back and get it fixed for free within a week, but you have to get it done by the same stylist. I didn't want to risk serious damage if she messed it up again, and didn't really see why she would be able to do a good job the second time around. If you want a good colour go to Ean at Two Horses, I had a great experience there.
