Delicious coffee & not very busy when we arrived. Cozy and quiet place for a relaxing moment to visit and chat with a friend.
Great prices meals and. Great customer experience. Would strongly recommend for a coffee date or brunch.
The owner has severe anger management issues. He yelled at me and my friend to get out after my friend politely asked for a table change the restaurant was almost empty. She had been a loyal customer for years. He got so angry when I requested a refund I was afraid I would get hit and my friend had a full blast panic attack. He was yelling to such a degree he scared all the other patrons and people waiting who ended up leaving with us. Do not go!
This is my favourite little coffee/ breakfast place in town. Staff/owners are so sweet and always remember their regulars! He grabs the coffee cup and my muffin for me as soon as he sees me enter the door before I can even ask. Love this place!!
Cafe le matin is excellent for breakfast and brunch! The cafe is a run and owned by a very sweet family and the decor is very rustic. The the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I recently had breakfast here with a couple of friends and ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was tender and the home fries are an absolute must when you come here : I have moved out of the Kingston since my last visit but would definitely go back when I have the chance!
Great atmosphere. Amiable and kind staff. Very excellent food was tremendous.
If could give this place a 0 star I would. This place uses Kraft singles as cheese for your omelette. That should be enough to tell you how terrible the food is. The girl at the front was really cool, but that's about it. Dont even waste your time or money.
Good spot downtown with a cozy atmosphere but I found the food mediocre on the few different times I was there. Usually when I go out for breakfast I like a spot that does it better than I can myself or puts in more effort than I would be willing to, but any of the breakfasts I've had here I could do myself quite easily. Having said that prices are reasonable so if you just don't feel like cooking, it's a good spot.
Absolute worst experience at a breakfast place in a long time. The eggs were so small, the potatoes were old and dry, as was the bacon. I should have trusted my instincts and walked out when the owner barely acknowledged us when we walked through the doors.
I got the bacon cheese dog. It was half a slice of processed cheese... My friend got the omelette. It was more like a egg crepe with the ham and mushrooms as topping with a processed cheese slice. Very disappointing. I wont be back.
