last time someone actually greeted me was roughly 15 years ago. they worked at the drum department and were the nicest people. everytime i walk in, no one ever bother to help or make eye contact when they just sit there. i did buy a guitar pedal a few years back because you guys were the only one that had it locally. so i had no choice but to buy from you. even if i walk by your store now, i refuse to go inside because it feels like a funeral in there. feels like the staff is too good to help. side note: As a piano player for many years. my advice is to get a new piano tech who knows what they are doing and voice all your Steinway pianos properly. they all sound overly bright and the touch is messed up. 2 stars for the guy who sold me the pedal, he was actually nice.

Paul Iverson at the North Van Store "Best of the Best" excellent work Paul, thank you - my set-up on my New Tele is great. (Also Paul is just a very nice, humble fella and a pleasure to do business with.)

Could have sworn I walk into a morgue. Bunch of young?? guys sitting around doing a bunch of nothing. Went up to the second floor and the guy that rang me through I had to pry off his stool to ring through my purchase. Thought I would support locally due to the instrument that I wanted was the exact same price on amazon. So my adivce if you want to touch and play go there then go home and order from amazon. At least that way you don't have to deal with such lethargic staff. Who ever owns this place should seriously start looking at the reviews of this place and take some action.

Wanted more than double for guitar strings compared to Long & Mcquade (8.95 vs 21.26 with taxes). Also they didn't even have the exact strings I needed and tried selling me ones that "are close enough". Pfft. Just want to make a sale, ridiculous. Stay far far away.

Very disappointed at the new store. You can see that Tom Lee Music decided to target the amateurs. The old store had some real quality gear for professional musician now, it's mostly garbage. Where is all the good gear? The instrument selection is very poor and the service is awful. The vibe of the old place was way better...
