This has been a great service and lovely food. Working full time as well as caring full time for an ill elderly parent makes it hard to find time to make my own meals. Easy to order then pick up (or deliver). The food is high end and delicious, with very tasty ingredients (all frozen). I have tried other services (more homey types with truly simple food). But Today's Menu food has real flavor and depth. I like the frozen packaging (flat, easy to fit and stack in the freezer, no extra packaging, just water proof air tight bags). Easy to defrost in warm water then heat.The soups are very tasty, have that homemade rich edge.

This is a really wonderful small business and I'd love to see them get some local love. With a newborn at home, we don't have as much time as we once did for cooking dinner so I was really pleased to find Today's Menu - and for the food to actually be good. The dishes are quite delicious and it feels more like home-cooking. When I order entrees, I just add a side dish or two of my own and it's a real meal. And the house smells like baked pesto or sweet stewed apples without my having to do all the work. On top of having a great product, their customer service is excellent too. Gift certificates would be an EXCELLENT gift for expecting parents.

This is the best gift for new parents! Food is delicious and a wonderful chnage from lasagna! Our favourites are beef bourguigon and the lamb feta meatballs.

This place is a big rip off. Their portions are SO small. $24.95 for chicken breast that's supposed to feed 4, when really it's just 2 breasts cut in half to make it into 4 of them. It's only good if you're so lazy that you really can't cook at all. Their customer service is horrible as well. Placed my order online for pickup and they charged me for delivery. Then a couple days later I'm going through my freezer and realized they didn't even give me one order of fish which was $20. Called them and emailed, they never returned my call or email so I completely got ripped off. Avoid this place at all costs.

Well Leaside, they're moving up to you now, so let an Upper Beacher give you the scoop on Today's Menu. In short, it's very poor value. We've bought food from there twice; once on a Groupon, the other when family gave us a gift card. The food ranges from pretty plain (chicken chasseur) to pretty good (turkey meatloaf in 'zesty tomato sauce [ketchup]). But the portions are small and the prices are high, to the point where getting delivery or going out to eat will likely be cheaper. If you've got money to waste, hey, go for it. I won't miss these guys too much though.
