Tintagels Tea Room

We had a wonderful breakfast, delicious food, tea and great service!

Tea was okay, scone was dry. Carrot cake was passable but expensive. Tables are very close together and on our visit it was exceptionally noisy and crowded. They did explain that it was unusual to be so busy on a Wednesday, our waitress was clearly very flustered and forgot to refill teapot after being asked twice. We eventually just gave up on the refill. Tea selection was nice and room was charming, but crowded.

Popped in at 11:04 on a Saturday for breakfast. I was told that breakfast finished at 11 and lunch hadn't started and they had too many orders to finish. There were 2 tables occupied - total of 6 people and one of the tables had already been served. I certainly did not feel welcomed - nor did I stay. I won't be back.

Went in for a late lunch, and ended up having the time of our lives! Great atmosphere love the music, really,really nice people, and a "Plowmans Lunch" that was to die for! Oh yeah---- the tea is really good too!

Awful Service... my daughter and I were in Erin on Sunday afternoon around 3.45pm we saw the lunch menu on a board outside the store and decided to try it. After entering we waited several minutes for somebody to come over and seat us even tho both people working had seen us standing there. Eventually one lady came over and showed us to a table and gave us the lunch menu, we were waiting for 10 min, we were wondering why they were taking so long when the younger girl came over to us and said as it was now 4pm they have stopped serving lunch!! We should have been told when entering the store that they were no longer serving lunch, clearly that's why they left us sitting for so long, and when leaving the tea shop the menu board was still outside the door - we will not be returning.

Pretty good food, though our waitress seemed very stressed/panicked dealing with a couple tables. Sounds like they like you to have reservations there

Took my wife for Mother's Day High Tea. Lovely, pleasant staff and great service. Highly recommend the spot for the experience.

Great tea and food. Had high tea and loved it. Clean and cozy. Good service.

The food is good but pricey. The service was not the greatest but we were hungry and this is a place to lounge.

Not recommended. Went there on Sunday for Lunch and didn't like the environment nor the food.
