Union Burger

Edited: 2018-02-12 The restaurant is back! Apparently a new owner bought the place and it is now back. I visited twice since it reopened 2-3 weeks back, and had pleasant experience both times. Definitely glad to have another food option on my travels! I have vised here once for lunch as it is located in the middle of my commute route. I am sad to say the place no longer exists as it closed a few weeks back. The burgers I got was of good quality and the price was reasonable. I did notice a rather long wait time to get your food and always thought the restaurant of kind of out of place for the neighborhood. Sad to see it go.

I am sad about this as I had great experienced in other Union burgers. We stopped to pick up lunch for my family after my son's Hockey practice. We pulled up 15 minutes after they opened and the doors were still locked with people waiting to go in. 20 after when they finally unlocked the doors we went in to play our take out. All of the ordering was good and they had apologised for the wait. When we got home, all of the burgers but were extremely burnt. My wife went to call but the number listed for them was out of service. So she emailed headquarters to share the experience to no response. Sad that this had to turn into a never again experience.

Great food! We were in town for a hockey tournament and went for lunch and dinner! Everyone there said how much they enjoyed the burgers, chicken burgers, beef hot dogs, and fresh cut fries. My friend had chicken salad and was happy it actually had lots of chicken breast unlike many places.

It was our first visit to the restaurant. We enjoyed the food but the restaurant was filthy. There was only one other table with customers yet every single table was dirty. We end d up finding a small space to eat at on the long table by the window. When I mentioned the dirty tables to the cashier she said she would take care of it. 5 minutes later another girl comes out and gives a cursory wipe to three tables and heads back behind the counter. Did I mention that it wasn’t busy? Totally unacceptable for a place where food is consumed.
