Simple and delicious hand crafted food
Farmers are our heroes, ingredients our inspiration. Our handcrafted food starts with fresh, sustainably produced, high-quality ingredients. We seek out the best farmers and fishers, artisanal producers, wine makers and brewers we can find.
In our kitchen, we work with the seasons, changing our menu weekly, and sometimes daily, to reflect the seasonal diversity of our beautiful province. We treat our ingredients with respect; we clean and prepare everything by hand from scratch, preserving our farmer's vegetables, herbs and fruits all summer long to use in our dishes and pastries throughout the winter and spring.
Our delicious meals are prepared in Chef Yasser Qahawish's simple, yet sophisticated, French country style that has comfort and community as its foundation.
We offer locally crafted beers and ciders, as well as maintain a well-stocked wine cellar with some of the best biodynamic and organic wines.
In our new home, a beautiful lime-stone building on the grand avenue of Woolwich Street, we can offer a variety of dinning options. Our restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible.
Our restaurant combines graceful elegance with an informal, welcoming atmosphere. Our dining rooms feel like a farm house in Provence. You can find wooden harvest tables for larger groups and quite corners for more intimate meals. You can also chose to dine in our garden patio, shaded by a great walnut and nestled in a historic corner of the old Guelph downtown.
Bring your whole family! We believe kids should eat everything and welcome them at our restaurant. We offer family meals between 5 – 6pm every day, that are designed for a family of 2 adults and 2-3 children or 3 adults to share. Roast chicken, crispy potatoes and salad is always available. Reservations must be made the day before for the other options. We also offer 1/2 price, 1/2 portions of everything on our menu for kids under 12.
