This store is amazing! Everything is always fresh and the workers are so friendly. I highly recommend everyone to shop at Thrifty Foods.
Good place to save money in Parksville if you don’t want to go into Nanaimo. I find it the most reasonable among all of the grocery stores here.nProduce is usually good quality and you can find garlic that is from Canada here and also, the service is excellent.
Our go to spot when we grocery shop in Parksville. I really enjoy the meat counter as they dry age steaks in-house and they come out beautifully. Great selection of products, Produce is always great.
Horrid place with the live crabs and crayfish squashed in a tank, with all of the crayfish having their claws taped. I had to put my groceries back and go somewhere else for my shopping. Please get rid of this blatant cruelty
I found the staff so cranky. Maybe it was just the staff at the lottery kiosk but went on multiple days and they seemed like they were having the worst day of their life. Seems like the place needs better management to care for their staff’s needs.
