Thorold Lumber and Rentals

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff. They carry a lot of product and can offer suggestions to a lot of problems. They have excellent rental equipment at great rates. The size of the store limits a huge diverse selection but to get the job done they do a pretty good job of carrying what is the important stuff.

They have some good prices, helpful staff and ample selection but their return policy is horrible. They don't even offer store credit after 30 days even with the receipt. This last point alone certainly neans I'll have to have a really good reason to shop here again. It was their staff that recommended that I buy extra materials and return it if I don't use it. Sad really. I liked their prices on oak.

Great place for Rentals new skidsteer's , excavators and tractor. The excavators and compact skidsteer are on their own trailers so their easy to get if you have a van or truck bigger and heavier machines than depot has better day rates too.

Not a large store so has limited options but if you want trim, screws or lumber, just go there. They are way cheaper than the big box stores especially for trim
