Upscale dessert spot Look it up as the chef Thierry worked at three Michelin star restaurant before, no wonder the dessert is so good. The interior and deco are classy/elegant/exquisite, make it a perfect spot for dates/hang out. Not to forget the taste of chocolate is right on point, as it's not sugar overloaded, so you can taste the fine cocoa and other ingredients, and all dessert are awesome!! Be careful if you have sweet tooth, you might be addicted
Thierry is one of the best coffee shops in Vancouver. It has become my favorite place. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves good vibes, delicious pastries and good coffee to try this place out. It will be worth every dollar you spend and most importantly it will not disappoint you for sure. Pastries - 5 star Vibe - 5 star Coffee options - 5 star Price - Reasonable Customer Service- 5 star Overall 5 star.... do check it out.
This is a beautiful shop and location! It was a just go to stop for me on our trip to Vancouver. The pastries are unique, gorgeous, and extremely tasty! Their drinks were also delicious and just as lovely as their desserts. They shall have a large selection of items for purchase and taking home.
Top tier pastries. My favorite items are their pear danish beautifully poached pear with vanilla bean pastry cream in a flaky pastry and any of their seasonal fruit tarts incredibly buttery crust. I ordered their Valentine's cakes earlier this year and was blown away. Great flavor combinations, amazing textures, and beautiful presentation.
Beautiful location. Gets really busy on a Friday night just before closing at 9pm. Desserts and beverages did not disappoint. The washroom was impressive with touchless entry, heated Kohler seat and push button/pad exit. Pleasantly surprised with the self-serve still or sparkling on tap water available. Will be frequently visit this location!
The new location is very beautiful! Spacious and lots of food cases that showcases their pastries, sweets and drinks! The not so little girl the time we were there that served my order was very sweet and friendly! The barista too was very welcoming!! Great job to their team!
Came here for the Spanish latte and the beignets while they’re available. It’s almost a yearly ritual as they’re only around for a month. Top notch as usual. The beignets are definitely smaller than they used to be, but just as tasty. The caramel sauce is a little runnier than before as well.
Great pastry place, flavor is good and the looks are fantastic. Would definitely come back and try more. My favorite is the passion fruit.
Great open space to hang out with a group of friends. Coffee and pastries are good but pricey. Unfortunately, their staff are rude, impatient and not friendly at all. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy friendly cafe with a chill vibe to work or hang out.
Thierry is one of the only bakeries in Vancouver that makes all their pastries, including their croissants, from scratch on the premises. It is also one of the only bakeries in Vancouver that my French friends will accept as a real “boulangerie” for that reason. In France you can only earn the title of a bakery if you make everything from scratch on site, although some bakeries are now importing factory-made croissant dough, which had sparked legitimate outrage and controversy in la belle France, but that’s another story. What to order according to the staff in the realm of cakes and tarts: 1 chocolate marquise cake for lovers of chocolate and hazelnut 2 Millefeuille “a thousand layers” with flecks of real vanilla bean in the pastry cream 3 passion fruit cake so tangy! In sum, if you’re going to pay $4-6 for a croissant, come here!
