Kind Cafe

Such a wonderful experience there! The food is awesome, and the place is nice and cozy. Not on the less expensive side, but the price is totally worth it! The portions are decently sized and like I said, tastes amazing. We just found that hot chocolate and coffee were not as creamy as a hot chocolate should be for me and the coffee was the same, but we chose the hazelnut milk, maybe it is that. We will try another milk next time.

Kind Cafe is a great spot on Main Street! I love that it is both all plant based and waste free. The food and drinks are delicious - I left wanting to try so many more menu options! The staff and service is great - efficient but kind. We have been back several times already!

Great healthy fresh options! All of the menu items looked fantastic but I landed on the Mediterranean bowl and it did not disappoint. Fresh, light, but satisfying. It was a pain to have to rent dishes in order to take my meal to go tho as I do not live in Vancouver so won’t be able to get my deposit back. Also, coffee was gross.

I've been coming here for nearly a year and it has been a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and lives up to the "Kind" moniker. One thing I want to point out is that this establishment represents itself as non-discriminatory and is willing to take anybody and I felt right at home ever since. Anyways, the smoothies are my favourite and they serve a smooth lager. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the area.

Supporting a local, zero-waste, vegan business has never been so easy. Vegan or not, these guys have some of the best food I’ve ever had. I can’t pick my fav, there’s too many but carrot lox is everything you love about a lox tangy, dill flavoured, light and delicious, buffalo flatbread is addictive, all their flatbreads are, love the Cesar salad, the list goes on. The ambience is light, airy and refreshing, lots of seating and sunlight. This place became my second office during WFH. My only complaint is their affogatos are only available in the summer, I’ll be missing those BIG time. They got it all right plus their leading the way in sustainable business models. 10/10.

Had a nice brunch! Ordered the Buffalo Cauli Flatbread with the GF add on and it was saucy with textures between the soft cauliflower and crunchy celery/onions. The portion size was OK. The service was friendly and the food came out promptly. By noon, the cafe was filled with patrons! It's a no waste eatery so no napkins cloths instead and they promote BYOC, which is great if you're doing take out and know about this ahead of time. Their food and drinks are a bit on the pricier side, and even more noticeable with the GF sub, so it's not your everyday breakfast/lunch. I liked the options and will be back to try their other items! The cafe is also very bright and a nice space to meet with friends.

Such a cute vegan and eco friendly cafe! Very kind attentive staff and delicious food for a reasonable price. Would recommend and hope to be back.

Excellent BBQ jackfruit with potato wedges. Kind bowl was enjoyable. Fresh food, good service, great vegan selection!

My friend brought me here for the first time yesterday and what a great experience. Friendly service, the food was so good and so healthy. I had a smoothie bowl - the house made granola on too was to damn tasty. The space is very welcoming and cozy. And speaking of welcoming - they're not playing the bogus show me your vax-pass game. They're welcoming everyone to enjoy their restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Was suggested this place by a friend, and it did not disappoint one bit. Coffee was strong tasting and delicious 10/10. The food was to die for with an all vegan menu but still so much on offer making it hard to choose just one thing!! All pieces of food in the photo lived past any expectations and to top it off the atmosphere and workers were amazing. Recommend everyone try this place as you will not regret it at all.
