The Wobbly Canoe

The food here is so good. I've been a few times, tried different menu items each time, and they have all been delicious. It's hard to pick a favourite item, but the poke bowl, tacos, macaroni & cheese, and porchetta sandwich were all amazing! (May 2018 update): They have recently increased their prices significantly. The food is still great though. But it is something to keep in mind, as a meal here definitely isn’t as reasonable as it was previously.

Good food and even better views! Do arrive in time for the sunset, plus it’s worth getting here early as this little canoe gets busy. The poke bowl and fish tacos were particularly good...order that! I also ordered the Mac and Cheese with steak - beef and cheese is almost always very good for me - but it failed to impress unfortunately...Service is very friendly but can be a little miss (I guess it’s hard to get experienced staff in off season at a location like the Sunshine Coast). I ordered warm water and it arrived when we were ready for the bill. But, probably one of the best bets for the Sunshine Coast...!

Good service. Food was tasty and hot and timely. Downgraded a star due to the Wobbly Canoe burger's bun, it was plain and did not add to the dish, which was otherwise hearty and delicious. Also disappointing was the Poke bowl, tasty but did not have much seafood. A double serving was extra money, which makes sense but our server said there was lots in the regular size. Fries and the sauce were great. My crispy chicken sandwich was really good and lots of it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was very busy so a bit on the noisy side. This will be a great place to go in summer when people can sit outside and the large garage style doors are open. Follow up: we returned a week later and food was as delicious. This time two of us ordered the Ceasar cocktail and it's the best I've ever had, and made to order.

Food we got was great, but the time it took to get two tacos (just over 45 minutes) was a little lacking. To my knowledge I think there was a mix up in the kitchen. All in all lovely staff, just try to go at a less busy time!

Excellent food! Great atmosphere with very good service. Was very dim inside and hard to read menu, be nice to have candles on each table for that extra ambience & lighting. Highly recommend and will return. Steak was so tasty and so were soft tacos...yummm
