McDonald’s has always been a place where you could get decent fast food at a decent price. Orders were usually quick and accurate. Food always been the same.nnI’ve noticed the whole franchise has really slipped but this location in particular has fallen off a cliff. Orders are always wrong. Food is slow. Service is awful. Prices are insane.nnThe last time I went they sent me to the parking area and then totally forgot about me. 15 minutes later I went in and asked what was up and they were unapologetic. Found my forgotten food order and gave it to me.nnI won’t be back ever again.

McDonald’s in Sechelt is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a Filet-O-Fish. The staff are always nice and welcoming, which makes every visit pleasant. The only downside is that sometimes groups of teens hang around and can be quite disruptive, lacking manners and trying to be funny in ways that aren’t. It can take away from the experience, but that’s more about the crowd than the restaurant itself. If it gets too much, it’s best to call the police so everyone can enjoy their meal in peace.

As a general rule when ordering at McDs you always check the bag before pulling out of the drive thru. More times than not, something gets missed. I’ve ordered from this location more times than I can count and the very friendly staff always get it right! Cheers to the always smiling, capable staff at this location! Thank you.

This McDonald’s is an absolute mess, if only I can give zero rating, and the blame falls squarely on the owner, who clearly doesn’t care at all. It’s always understaffed, and it’s painfully obvious that whoever’s running this place is more interested in squeezing out profits than actually running a decent restaurant.nnThe employees? They’re the only reason this location hasn’t completely collapsed. I genuinely feel sorry for them, they’re doing everything they can under pressure, and it shows. But no matter how hard they work, they’re set up to fail by poor management and an owner who refuses to staff the place properly.nnIf you’re the owner reading this: DO BETTER. Your team deserves support. Your customers deserve basic service. This is just pure negligence.

I’ve gotten the Smokey maple chicken everyday this week for breakfast, and everyday they put mayo on it even after asking them not to and being told multiple times that it doesn’t come with it. PLEASE learn your recipes or at least communicate so this stops happing, it’s extremely frustrating.
