Story

Welcome to the Basted Baker! Found in the heart of Sechelt on the popular Cowrie St, this local Bistro/Cafe is sure to have something for everyone. Always serving homemade, fresh, delicious, unique dishes where diners can come daily to see what the rotating menu is serving up! Alongside is the cafe of always freshly roasted Pallet coffee, epic Espresso shots, yummy baked goods on display and an all day buttery Biscuit menu. Front & Back patio seating available. Parking in the back. Weekend brunch menu in effect.

Highly recommended for a quick snack or a longer bite to eat. Delicious food. The eggs benedict (full) was wholly satisfying. Their signature biscuits are used in most of the dishes offered here, and they are FANTASTIC! We came at a good time (before the brunch rush - as another reviewer posted, somewhere around 10:15) but there are less than ten tables so I could imagine it gets quite busy. I will be back!

Very good breakfast spot. They're small and busy, but show up at around 10:15 and you should find a table (we visited in early September over a weekend). We went back several times during our stay, and tried a few different menu items. The pricing is mid to high for breakfast, but the food justified it. Delicious Benny's, pastries, biscuit sandwiches, and coffee. Will go back again next time we're in the neighbourhood.

New favorite brunch spot in Sechelt! Great food and you can get an excellent cup of coffee. Nice staff and overall pleasant place. ☕

The best coffee on the Sunshine Coast. Incredible coffee that will satisfy even the pickiest of coffee snobs(me). A good gibraltar, cappuccino and espresso. Nice location, and a secret backyard patio to sip your coffee and enjoy your pastry. The baked goods are delicious and flaky. Significantly better food than a usual quality coffee shop offers.

Best brunch in town. Visited the city for 4 days and found myself having 4 brunches at this place highly recommended by the locals. Try the half serving of their brunch first as I find that satisfying already. You would probably finish a full one but regret it after. . . Newbie mistake. . . The half one and a pastry to go is the best way to do it. . . Enjoy. . .
