Story

Welcome to the Basted Baker! Found in the heart of Sechelt on the popular Cowrie St, this local Bistro/Cafe is sure to have something for everyone. Always serving homemade, fresh, delicious, unique dishes where diners can come daily to see what the rotating menu is serving up! Alongside is the cafe of always freshly roasted Pallet coffee, epic Espresso shots, yummy baked goods on display and an all day buttery Biscuit menu. Front & Back patio seating available. Parking in the back. Weekend brunch menu in effect.

It was just okay. For the premium price point I did at least expect the halloumi to be cooked. And the bacon jam was very thin. Spent $35 for this and a coffee.nPortion size was very big, I thought a half portion meant it was half a serving but it would have been ample.

Hey there! If you’re looking for the best breakfast spot in Sechelt, you’ve got to check out this place. They serve up some seriously delicious food and their service is top-notch. Plus, they’re located right in the heart of Sechelt, so you won’t have to go far to get your fix. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
The food here is amazing!! I love how refreshing the guacamole is. Bennys are good too! We will be back again once we visit the island!
Absolutely the best food on the Sunshine Coast! Blown away by the portions/value, flavours are so balanced, does not matter what you order you won’t be disappointed. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly love working here. This is not a place to be missed. Coffee is tasty and they have some incredible flavours like Maple Latte. Not only did we love the food served to us we also took some hand pies, coffee beans, and butter biscuits to go!
