Strong 12/10. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Fixed my mom's clarinet quickly when she thought it was a lost cause. Couldn't be happier with their professionalism and service. If you need your instrument repaired these folks have it covered.
The fellows here have never steered me wrong, and have been super knowledgeable and accommodating! Highly recommend-- wouldn't have my saxes repaired anywhere else.
As a woodwind player, they have never disappointed me and always get it done whenever I need it done. I love supporting local businesses and they definitely give me a reason to come back.
I love this store, all the people who work here and their plethora of knowledge. Best instrument repair shop in edmonton, by far! No question.
Brought in a trumpet to be chem cleaned with cork replacement. The horn came out in far worse condition than it went in. They wouldn't even answer a simple question over the phone when it was ready. how did it go and what was done? The mouth piece was brand new when put in with the horn and came out caked in SLUDGE. I was able to improve its condition after leaving this shop with a quick bath and brush. These people have NO idea how to clean a horn. Don't trust them with your instrument!
I think Scott is the best sax repair artist. Few years back, my sax teacher recommended this shop for regular check-ups though she's working for a big music shop. He fixed subtle eccentricities which I did not really expect him to be able to fix, but he did, each and every one. So thankful to have found a sax repair artist who delivers on jobs on time on affordable prices. I'll be using Scott for the rest of my music life and so far not a single complaint, only consistent craftsmanship. Thank you! Scott.
Extremely happy with all the work I've had done here.
Honestly, I was disappointed about Wind Shoppe 'coz I paid a huge amount of money just to fix my instrument and then nothing happens. Just take my best advise, "don't ever ever trust the owner and the staff for they are so dishonest and corrupt kind of people." Wind Shoppe Music store is not worth for your money and time.
We rented a trumpet from this company for school band in Red deer. The school choose this company to rent from. I was under the impression that the company would come pick up instruments at end of the year. Covid hit school was shut down and there was zero communication from this company. The school tried to call them to get info on how to return equipment and no answer. School finally gave up and asked parents to call. When I called I was told I would have to pay shipping to ship it back to Edmonton or drive there to drop it off. This is a joke why on earth should 100 plus students have to do this? After the amount of money made by each family!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service.
Excellent work done on my clarinet. Had a few corks replaced and a thumb rest restored. No more wonky clarinet for me! This is the best place to bring a hurt horn.
