I took in a guitar in for repairs estimate. I'd had set-ups done here before and I was happy enough with the work. But then he looked at my guitar, which was a gift, but an admittedly beat-up gift, and he immediately asked "how much did you pay for this?" and said he would have never sold this from his shop, and that the price wouldn't be worth fixing it. It wasn't especially rude, but not especially professional either. Just being honest. I showed my friend the guitar she is a professional musician and she thought it was beautiful. I'll be looking elsewhere for a repair without the judgement. There's a bit of a hipster vibe here in my opinion, though it seems like they do good work, generally.

Absolutely amazing service!! My teen son, a new guitar player, needed to buy strings for his guitar. We were greeted so warmly and the staff took their time showing him the different strings. Not only that they then showed him all the different accessories from tuners to pedals to amps and the differences in brands. They made him feel so good and really validated. Stang Guitar could have easily rolled their eyes and brushed him off but they really took him in and made him feel like a true musician. Thank you!!

The guitar came as described and was thoroughly checked over by the technician Doc. Fast enough shipping and nice packaging as well. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would 100% recommend.

A friend of mine referred me to Stang Guitars for a guitar setup. I have never had a guitar professionally setup even though having played for over 30 years. I dropped my guitar off about 10 days ago, and picked it up today. It sounds like a new instrument. I highly recommend Stang Guitars for guitar setups. Great place, staff is friendly, gives good tips, and keeps you updated on what’s going on with your guitar. Service quality is also very good and I highly recommend this place

Nice store, very big lots of room to browse,great selection of guitars, amps etc, friendly staff would rate higher but some guitars are pricey. Found my suhr classic t in Calgary several hundred cheaper.

Amazing store. Great taste in what they stock, and their customer service can't be beat. The owner is extremely accommodating, and along with all staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Best guitar shop in Edmonton hands down. Edit: 6 years later and I love them even more. Thanks for everything guys!
