Beautiful spot with great food. The views are spectacular. There are many gluten-free options and our server was very knowledgeable about what to eat or avoid. I added prawns to my salad. They were HUGE and both were delicious. The Poke appetizer was fresh, tasty and visually appealing. The BLT and burger were large and yummy. The building is a little hidden, tucked behind a tree and easy to miss if you are a first-time visitor. Some signage just before the curves would be helpful. There are two parking areas that when busy can take a little while but the food and views were worth the wait. The building is on a walkable dyke with gravel/dirt hills to go up but the building has accessibility ramps for those with mobility issues. Parking: There are 4-5 stalls in front of building and about 15 across the street. Wheelchair accessibility: The building has a ramp for access. Getting to the building is up a dirt hill or easier gravel entry further down the dyke. Dietary restrictions: Lots of foods can be cooked gluten-free. The menu doesn't indicate which ones but the servers are knowledgeable so just ask.
Beautiful views! We sat inside because of the gusty winds. The view of the mountains and river is just gorgeous! We had crab cakes and fish and chips. The soup of the day was a curry lentil soup. I felt there was a lack of coconut cream, salt and curry spices in it but maybe that's just my taste. The salad that came with my crab cakes was awesome! Perfect acidity and complements the crab! Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommended! Wheelchair accessibility: A bit hard to navigate if you're in a wheelchair.
Virgin River Fan so of course we had to stop in! The restaurant is outdated but the food definitely makes up for it! I had the roasted tomato soup along with garlic bread and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the wings and fries and he really enjoyed his meal. Beers and cocktails were good! Portion sizes were generous. The Squamish River views are breathtaking!! Our server could have been more attentive granted the place was busy but we had to flag her down a few times. Overall, we had a wonderful lunch overlooking beautiful scenery!
This is one of my favourite restaurants, and every time I eat here, the food never disappoints. I usually get the same thing at restaurants I frequent, but I love branching out here, because it's always delicious. On top of the amazing food, the views are absolutely breathtaking. In summer, the garage doors open up so it feels like you're partially outside.
We stopped on our way from skiing at Whistler. The staff was very friendly and accommodated all our needs for a group of 10 with kids. The food was also awesome. Salmon burger, pasta, Thai curry, beyond meet burger, yam fries.. all are yummy. Service was good. It was a rainy day evening and we could not enjoy the ricer view but a good spot to stop by on a sunny day.
Stopped by on the way to Whistler for lunch right when they opened and we sat outside to enjoy the stunning mountain and river views! Our burgers and soups did not disappoint, everything was flavourful and our server was excellent. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.
Liked the overall vibe of this place. The food is mostly average apart from the baked brie which was simply amazing. Good selection of beers and decent service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. PS: I felt like this place is a little overhyped coz of the virgin river reference but still worth a visit if you are in the area!
We usually hit up The Watershed Grill after doing a ride along the Sea to Sky Hwy on our bikes. Their burgers/sandwiches are good and the prices are quite reasonable. I usually order the California chicken burger which has always been awesome but they changed their menu. I ordered their classic rueben sandwich w/yam fries this time...it was pretty good too The service is great as well. The view is an added bonus!
Highly recommend checking out The Watershed Grill if you’re in the area! We were initially intrigued by the restaurant since Virgin River was filmed here, and I’m so glad that we decided to eat here. The servers are super friendly, the location is beautiful and picturesque, and the food is amazing! My fiancé had the burger and I had the chicken pot pie, and they were both delicious! This restaurant was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
What a location! We got in early and there wasn't a wait. Most of what we got was super delicious, juicy burgers, sandwiches, and their soups were full of flavour. Staff were friendly and chatty, which was great. The one item I would stay away from would be the tuna poke bowl, it was fairly bland. The location, views, and other delicious items on the menu will definitely bring me back :
