Spent one night at the Howe Sound Inn, and the location is excellent. The rooms are nice but somewhat dated. The staff at the main reception were a bit distant and not very welcoming. The breakfast offerings were limited to small items like danishes, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, and small cereals. It would be nice to see more substantial options, such as bagels or muffins. Additionally, serving breakfast in the hallway felt intrusive to the other guests; the restaurant or conference room setting would be better.nnWe dined at the restaurant for dinner, where our server was excellent, but the food itself was unremarkable and lacked flavor.nnOverall, our stay was decent, but I'm uncertain if I would choose this location again in the future.

Great local brewery! We had the week lunch happy hour burger, fries and beer for 20$ and realize this was a killer deal! Great tasting homemade beer and food was good too! Great spot at decent price!

Restaurant is expensive and very mediocre.nnChicken on burger was very tough and dry, justnplain mayo used as the “dip” with sweet potato fries. Burger was small and uneventful.nnFriendly service though.nnUnfortunately will not be back.

First time visit.nnWent here for my wife’s birthday dinner and was thoroughly disappointed, I ordered a soup with sandwich and the soup was disgusting. I couldn't eat more than one taste of the soup, the waiter even acknowledged the soup wasn't touched and never offered to remove it from the bill.nnHalfway through my meal I asked for a refill on my drink, the waiter forgot about my refill and i had to ask him again after my meal was almost finished, I had about 2 sips and he charged me for it.nnMy wife ordered a chicken sandwich and said it was completely bland and had about 2 bites and didn’t finish it.nnThe only positive was the waiter was great with my kid and I respect that he admitted he forgot about my drink.nnWill not return, not happy with the bill and lack of flavour.

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights in August. We did not eat at the restaurant or the continental breakfast that was provided so cannot speak to the food. We loved the location. Free easy parking and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and cozy. Beds are a bit hard and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Mornings can be a bit loud outside so would have been nice to close windows and have a/c instead. I would still stay again for 1 or 2 nights.
