My family and I ordered a ten piece chicken bucket for pick up on our way back from Whistler to Vancouver over the Easter long weekend . I called 15 minutes in advance and placed the order. I arrived had to wait an additional 5 minutes which was absolutely fine, I collected the chicken, paid and headed back to my car. I opened up the bucket still steaming, but as I look at the lid what looked like gum was stuck on it. How’s that possible, that the kitchen did not see this when packing it? I went back in showed it to the cashier and asked for my $ back. While getting my refund the cashier almost forceably under his breath said he was sorry! What the jail? So disappointed, I was a huge advocate of A&W, loved the values of the company, but the service and quality is so inconsistent. The service team was so unapologetic, inconsiderate and lack lustre, they made no attempt to offer to remedy the situation. And so ended what would now be my last visit ever at an A&W restaurant.

The service here was almost as deplorable as the muck they are serving up. Simply awful. As a long-time customer of A&W, I do appreciate the occasional Papa burger and sweet potato fries. This visit absolutely killed any joy from this fast food joint experience. The servers were rude, unattentive, barely coherent and distracted. I waited 28 minutes for my burger, only to receive cold fries. Why? This place absolutely sucks.

Super slow service. The chubby chicken burgers we ordered were not warm at all, and whoever made them added too much mayonnaise. Second time in a row that I leave this place disappointed.

Went through the drive through and ordered chicken strips and a poutine. Recieved barley warm chicken strips and slightly frozen yam fries mixed with regular French fries. Noticed upon leaving and returned and asked for my poutine. There was no apology for the mistake and they had told me i owed more money after they wasted my time and gave me a uncooked meal. Not pleased.

Best Rootbeer especially when served in a frosty mug... Food is average at best. Breakfast is always a good value.
