This place is popular for a reason. The food here is Amazing! Driven past it 100 times without giving it a second look until I stopped in with some friends and was blown away by the amazing food here! Only thing is there is usually a long wait as everything is made to order and it's incredibly popular. It's worth the wait though! So delicious!

Always wanted to visit this place and finally had the chance. It is not a fast food joint. We were there at 1300 on labour day and waited in a line almost out the door and then another 35min til our order came out. That being said the food was good. Fried chicken was juicy and fries well. The burrito lacked a descent ratio of refried beans, lots of rice and coleslaw... But after waiting so long I was hungry for anything. Fun environment focusing on the day of the dead celebrations and had a Mexican flare to it, but the dead giveaway was that they served Pepsi and no Coke. Bring a game to play while you wait, but some of the specialty items looked very tasty.

Top notch food whether you're here for the fried chicken or mexican food. Everything fresh and made to order so you will wait a bit longer than standard fast food, but it's worth the wait. Nice local feel

First off, I've always wanted to try Mag's since the first time I spotted it on my way to Whistler a couple months back. I'm a big fried chicken fan so this place was a must try for me. When I finally went there with my girlfriend, the first thing we noticed was how busy the restaurant was. It was filled to capacity with a long line at the counter and once we looked at the menu, it became clear why. Their menu is simply too big. It takes each customer a considerable amount of time to read through every item and if you're there with a big group, expect to be slowly deciding on your food for several minutes. I understand the logic behind wanting to give your customers a lot of choices, but they're shooting themselves in the foot by increasing their turnover time. Furthermore it takes a lot longer to hire and train new staff, especially cooks who have to learn how to make every single item on the menu. Don't be fooled by the outside logo because this isn't a fast food restaurant such as Church's or KFC. We had the 3 piece snack pack. The chicken was incredibly fresh, however the crunch of the batter left a lot to long for. The gravy was very soupy and the fries were a little on the soft side.

We ate here on the way home from pemberton on the recommendation of previous reviews. The decor is pretty cheap looking but the restaurant has it where it counts. The food was great and came in massive portions. The chimichanga could have comfortably fed a family of for. Definitely recommend.
