Mags 99 Mexican Cantina Review 5 starsnHidden Gem for Family Meals!nnJust had to rave about Mags 99 Mexican Cantina! I ordered their online 18-piece family meal and was incredibly impressed. The chicken was the star - not greasy at all, and you could tell they put real care into the preparation.nnEverything had delicious, unique flavors:nnThe gravy had a special seasoning that was fantastic.nThe coleslaw wasn't swimming in sauce, which was a huge plus.nThe macaroni salad was creamy and perfectly balanced.nThis is a fantastic option for feeding a crowd. Not only was the food delicious, but the price point was fair– way cheaper than getting fast food from McDonald's for the same amount of people!
We stumbled upon this place on our annual summer Whistler trip. The owner was so kind to direct us on her favorite dish, the atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely amazing not to mention the affordable price. We’re planning on making this a new stable place to visit
Great atmosphere, love the decorations and painting on the wall. Food is was delicious, however we were served quesadillas with about a spoon of sour cream, we did get a second serving of sour cream but unfortunately it was a smaller serving then the one that came with quesadillas.
Haven't been to Mags99 in a while! Had a great experience last time but I was rather disappointed this time around :nnIt was rather quiet on Saturday late afternoon coming down from Whistler. The staff were nice! The fried chicken were unfortunately overcooked, the batter/skin was rather on the darker side and the meat was very dry :nn5pc for over $22...nnHopefully next time it will be better :
It's okay Chicken was a little dry and I thought it was weird they had no salsa for Mexican food, which definitely would have helped the dryer chicken. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have salsa?? But the portions were good.
