Story

The Shop is an exciting Makerspace located in Toronto. The first of its kind locally, The Shop is membership based, operating a ceramics studio and craft studio for the use of local artists and hobbyists. In addition to DIY usage, members can take part in exciting classes and workshops to improve their skills, or develop new ones.

Amazing place best day ever! I had a pottery class having not done it since school. It was such a great experience, the teacher was patient and helped keep me on the right track. I loved it one of top three things to do in Toronto. Will be coming back!

I had the best time at a class here! I made a fantastic leather bag with the help of my teacher. It's a fun way to learn something new and everyone is super nice. Great experience!

Tidy space for ceramics work. Friendly! Offers lots of workshops in ceramic but also other crafting, check the website for the calendar and to register.

Michelle who runs the shop is so nice and has an insane amount of diy skill up her sleeve. There are a solid amount of wheels so you don't have to wait to throw and good table space for hand forming and glazing. Definitely check this place out.

Such a cute studio! I was really happy taking a tapestry class here and I’m looking forward to taking pottery in the future :
