It was amazing!!!! The staff was personable and genuinely nice. The atmosphere was great - appropriate music and decor. I would definitely go back. A huge plus, apart from the vibes, is that you get to choose what you want to paint and do so either from there wide collection or by choosing something of your own! They guide you but you are allowed absolute free reign.I was apprehensive as I am no artist and it was my first time but they made me feel comfortable. They serve a few cocktails at an additional cost and you get popcorn for free.
Absolutely recommend this place! My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night and loved it here! I like that you can choose your own picture to recreate and all the workers are so knowledgeable and helpful. They mix the colours for you and teach you the techniques in order to get you to the desired painting. The music was great, the drinks were good, all the workers were so friendly and helpful. Zero complaints!
My first visit to the studio was on a very stormy night. I was very surprised that a lot of people still showed up to their sessions.. the commitment. But soon I realized the respectfulness, commitment, and dedication exist both ways between the shop and the customers. Anita the owner and the employees CJ, Hanna were extremely helpful, professional, and super fun to chat with during the session, which made the entire experience much enjoyable. It’s already been a few weeks since the snow storm, yet I still vividly remember when Anita offered to drive my friend home after the shop was closed, how touched I felt at the moment. Thank you Anita and the studio for showing us so much kindness. The studio offers unlimited popcorn and super pretty drinks too! The whole night’s experience was so cozy, friendly, with chill nice music playing in the background, I think paint cabin perfectly understood the assignment of what it means to be a paint night studio, and executed it perfectly too
What a unique experience. With all the paint, materials and brushes provided, Paint Cabin is a great place to scratch your creative 'itch' with family and friends. The staff are very kind and helpful. And the atmosphere is very enjoyable. The drink selection was nice and the music was great. I havnt painted since primary school. But our instructor was very knowledgable, patient and kind. And showed us techniques to create what we wanted on canvas. I would and already have recommended Paint Cabin to my friends, family and coworkers as a date night or special occasion event space.
Booked Paint Cabin for a corporate virtual paint night. Ordering the paint kits to everyone's home both in Canada and USA was super streamlined and easy, then they took care of the details. We had the option to add on snacks to the kits which made my life easy! We had one snag but the team at Paint Cabin dealt with it swiftly and really care deeply about their customer service and you having an amazing experience. Would book them again in the future!
This place is just amazing. First of all, the owner and staff are so friendly and helpful you feel like you are painting with friends. They are so warm and have amazing vibes. It was my first time painting ever and they helped me every step of the way. A bonus is that they have a bar so the drinks were helpful to ease the nerves. This place is amazing for dates or even if you want to go alone and learn to paint or just paint around great people. This experience makes me want to go back again and bring friends to paint with. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a fun night out. Thanks again for an amazing time.
I came here for a print making work event. The activity itself was very unique and fun. It looks quite difficult and intimidating but and this is coming from someone with limited artistic abilities really was not hard to create something awesome! The staff, who are mostly OCAD students/grads, are helpful and kind. But the reason that I am writing this review is not about the fun. During our activity, I had a health scare. The staff member I reached out to immediately and calmly lead me to a place where I could feel safe. I was then accompanied by the owner herself who was surprisingly adept at properly supporting me. Once I felt better, she led me back to the 'party,' lowered the music volume, and handed me a puppy ! to snuggle. Turns out they have small rescue dogs but only allow them to roam when it become clear that the customers are comfortable with them! While I was away, one of the staff members contributed to my art to ensure I didn't fall behind everyone else and feel more embarrassed. When leaving, I thanked the owner and she literally told me that I could call her if I needed her. Not at ALL what I expected from a paint-and-party place.
Went here for my anniversary. Never painted before. I brought a picture of what I wanted to paint, and the gents that were supervising got super hyped that I wanted to do something different. Although all of the guys there were SUPER friendly and helpful, I want to give out a SPECIAL SHOUT to Christian! He stuck with me and challenged me and helped me a lot in getting this painting done. I didn't think it was possible, but it ended up looking amazing. I will 100% be back, and will recommend this place to everyone I know and already have.
It was a fun evening out celebrating a friend’s birthday. You don't need experience at all. You had the option of choosing one of their pic options or bringing your own, or using a stencil. I would recommend it for a unique event with friends.
My friends and I went on a Saturday night and had the best time! The artists who work there were really kind and helpful. They helped us choose our colours, gave us direction in regard to the best way to approach our individual paintings, and sketched any bits we felt we couldn’t do ourselves. I really enjoyed making my painting and loved the final result too! I can’t wait to go back next time with my partner!!
