This pizza tastes exactly same which I had it in my home country india. It has some india spices which tastes very good. I never found this kind pizza in US This is first place I found it . You guys should come and try once .
I ordered goat curry and received a watered down version of bones with a plethora of fat and barely any meat. For $23?? It tasted barely anything like curry and was not at all "spicy" as I requested, and had even double checked after tasting. I would say go with any other place for Indian food but here.
Randomly dropped by at this cute spot. Plethora of fusion food options. Reasonably priced with generous quantity. Loved the Samosas and Paneer Kathi rolls. Chana Masala and Paneer Masala was bomb. Keep up the great work :
The food was decent but we spent 16 dollars on a small dish. It is very small with small peices of chicken. We wait for 10 minutes for something very small. We asked for mild food and they gave us really spicy food.Food: 2/5
Biryani is India’s most famous export to the world alongside chicken tenders. Never mind, it’s Persian influence. Shack owns it me thinks.
The Indian recipes here are very delicious and worth the money. They serve in big quantities aswell. I tasted Chana masala and Tawa roti which tasted so good.
When we were on the route to Boston from Connecticut, wanted to pick up food on our way. So we found 'The Shack' online and called them for an Order. When we reached there and food were ready. They had few tables out there we had food it was so tasty. I have ordered Veg fried rice, Naan and Gravy. I felt like I am having street food in India. I met the Chef too, he came to us and asked if everything is Ok. I loved the food, I recommend to try here. I am waiting to go again, this time I am going to try Chicken fried rice.
I really, really wanted this place to be good because it's so close and the people there are so nice. If I were judging them by their garlic naan, paneer, and mango lassi alone they'd get 5 stars. But we also got saag paneer and chicken korma with rice, and both were extremely disappointing. For starters, both were extremely soupy - almost watery. The saag was more brown than green and you couldn't taste any spinach or garam masala. Sopped up with some garlic naan, it was still mostly serviceable because the paneer was so good and it was much thicker than the korma. The korma was more egregiously bad in my opinion. Korma is supposed to be an onion-heavy gravy thickened with yogurt and almond flour or even peanuts if the place is on the cheaper side. There should be pieces of cashew and golden raisins throughout in higher quality places, but sometimes you just get regular old raisins in cheaper places. The chicken should be braised with ghee and spices. But this stuff was clearly tomato-based with no yogurt and no nuts whatever. The chicken was stewed rather than braised, too. The whole effect made it seem like I was eating soggy chicken with a very thin, watery tomato puree. And if they accidentally gave me their butter chicken or tikka masala instead of korma, which I sort of suspect happened, it's still not good and still very wrong. The wetness and soupiness of everything killed me. Even the rice was very wet. It was more flavorful than the main dishes. The problem is that it was all cumin and garlic. I love cumin and garlic, don't get me wrong, I just also enjoy other aromatics as well. I couldn't taste anything but cumin and salt and wet. Not even a hint of cardamom or clove. That was disappointing, because really good basmati rice is tender but dry and fragrant - not wet and salty and garlicky. Redeeming qualities to the saag paneer and chicken korma? There was decent heat to both. I'd still call the medium more of a mild, but I understand that you have to soften the spicy for Americans. I wish it was better. I really, really do. I could walk here from my place and the people who work here are incredibly nice. Maybe they have other stuff that tastes better? The naan gives me hope that maybe there's something on the menu they're much better at.
Ordered new custom paneer chili pakoras best in town 5 out of 5
Worst Indian food place I've ever been to. We stood outside in the cold for about 20 mins and then had to place our order through uber eats because the guy inside kept ignoring us. I went to pick up my food because they said it was ready and the guy kept asking me for 2 more minutes- I waited 20 extra minutes. We spent $90 and all my food fit in a small paper bag, thats how small the portions are. The food was super expensive for the amount of food they give you- $27 for a bowl of salty lamb biryani that only had like 5 pieces of meat in it. I paid them almost $30 for a salty rice bowl. That's another thing, all our food was salty, all of it, and cold. So cold that I ordered a roll and had to ask my best friend she cooks this kind of food if it was meant to be a cold item because it tasted like they handed it to me out of the fridge. Worst $90 ever spent. Go somewhere else.
