PePe's Pizza

We went here for lunch. Menu looked promising online. When we got there we were handed a much smaller lunch menu. I got a sausage sandwich. My buddy got chicken parm sandwich. Fries come with sandwiches but they did not have fries. My sandwich was undercooked. The bread was okay. I ordered my lunch with no cucumbers. My side salad was loaded with cucumbers. The bread and oil with roasted garlic was delicious. Otherwise, the lunch was not good.

I would give this review one star if it weren’t for the cannoli dessert. It was probably one of the better cannolis I’ve tried. The pizza was also good, nothing special really just a little salty. For appetizers we got french fries, the stacked eggplant, and the bruschetta. The fries were actually very good but similar to bowling alley fries aka good and salty. The bruschetta tasted burnt and the tomatoes tasted like nothing, also I don’t know if anyone there went to culinary school but the onions for it where chopped so poorly it was uncomfortable to eat. The “eggplant” was probably the worst part of our meal. There was zero eggplant in it. Like absolutely nothing. It just tasted like a stale salt less uncooked fried dough in equally unsalted red sauce. It was so awful. Also they didn’t have lemonade as a drink option, only alcoholic drinks and Pepsi products. They also served all of their sides like ketchup or red pepper flakes in small plastic containers which was an utter waste of plastic and disappointing to see they couldn’t take the extra effort and replace it with reusable glass containers like the use for the parmesan cheese. We called im advance as well to make sure we didn’t need reservations and the person on the phone said today it was “walk in only” but when we arrived the first thing we were asked is if we had a reservation and that the wait would be about 20 minutes. Overall I will not be coming here again.

Not impressed with ambience, decor or service, was cold in the dining room, ordered 4 cheese pizza and the menu we were given did not mention blue cheese yet it’s made with blue cheese. They need to update that in the menu, blue cheese is a strong cheese to just surprise someone with. Husband also found piece of plastic in his drink which looked like ice but was not. A few positives - the server was very nice just not around as often as we’d like and the dough was good/promising, if only we liked blue cheese. Caprese salad was also fresh.

On 1/20/23 I ordered 3 pizza's for takeout on line. When my son got home and gave me the receipt it was a bit higher than the online prices. I called and was told the owner John would call me back. He finally did on 1/29/23 after I called two more times. He said he is aware the online menu prices are off and they are working on it, but that prices are subject to change and the cost of everything is outrageous. I don't see how the cost of things has anything to do with the over charging. Although the pizzas were very good I will not be going back to Pepe's.

First time eating here. Also the first time I have ever sent food back. We got lasagna and shrimp scampi and were going to split them. The scampi was almost inedible. It had a lime flavor to it. It was just terrible. The lasagna was also really bad. It did not taste fresh. I wanted to send both back, but it’s awkward enough just sending the scampi back. We ordered the pizza instead. It was ok, but just not good enough for this type of restaurant. I hate saying this, because I want places like this to succeed, but I just can’t risk another disappointing meal here. It ruins a fun night and despite getting the scampi deducted they were really good about it, it was a total waste of money.

Excellent pizza and toppings! Worth it for a slice of BLT, the Works or even Cheese. The staff was great and the interior had a great atmosphere. Can't wait to get dinner inside there after Covid

We went to Pepe's for a b'day party the pizzas I had were all excellent I tried 3different slice's,the potato the firecracker and the cheese all 3 were baked perfect. The antipasto salad and side of fries were excellent too.

Went here for the first time. We were seated right away. The place is nice inside , service was great and food was very good. If I had to complain about anything the music was loud other than that good experience.

This place was my hope, but now I just can’t. The first pizza picture is what I got, the second is what they use to give, and for the price you think you would ALWAYS get the better of the two. The girl who picked up the phone when I complained was absolutely rude, and an lacking in intelligence. When I said there is no cheese on the pizza she told me “there’s no cheese on a margarita pizza anyway, there’s only fresh mozzarella balls.” WHAT?!?! She also told me the manager would call me back. This was two weeks ago. After the call, I received devastating news about my family and had to leave town and realize today that they never called me back. Look at the first picture of the pizza - it’s like a flat, pathetic excuse especially for the price, and they don’t care about customer service either.

Great spot friendly staff! Ordered the potato pizza it was fantastic also tried the eggplant appetizer. The food here is reasonably priced and the restaurant has a nice bar area a dining room as well as great outdoor seating. I was impressed by the pizza.
